just got text from Pete Linton, hes on 12k,can you find out whos on his table please...good job so far guys

FRAN

This guy with headphones that only Martin Wendt would be proud of?

I can tell you he's sharing a table with Julian, Paul King and Willie Tann.

Also, I now have conclusive photographic proof that that Iwan Jones might not have been the one that smelt it, but he must have been the one that must have dealt it.

Lucy Rokash, whose stack had dwindled somewhat to 5 or 6k is ALLIN.

I arrived just in time for her to call a reraise allin on an Ah Two Diamonds flop.

She showed Two Clubs for top and bottom and her opponent showed pocket two spades for a dominating set.

Lucy threw her hands in the air, "what can you do?!!!" but the turn and river brought salvation in the form of club club and her runner runner flush kept her interest in the tournament and moved her above 10k.

Her opponent remained gravel faced as shock set in....poor mateyboy!

Please send a good luck to my West Bridgford-side buddies Julian and Chris Bruce. Unlucky Mr Linton.

Excellent updating as always - Jungle Cat making a great debut! Was telling Flushie what a great writer I thought he was the other day.

I'm playing tomorrow so will say hello then.

So much to say, first Pete Linton went out after check/raising Willie Tann all-in on a bluff on a x-T-T-4-4 board, shame Willie was holding a Ten. He departed soon after.

Julian is a little short after raising a late position raise to 2,000 from 850, he passed sharpish to the all-in and was shown Kings.

Karl and Praz have finally been separated when their table was broken...they were then both moved to same table again.

News for Jan Sjavik fans now:

First he bets 5.5k on a three diamonds board, his opponent dwells, perhaps a little too long, but calls with which is good. This left him short and he got the rest of his chips in with on the three diamonds board and got called.

"Nines?" said Jan, perhaps a little hopefully, "You have Nines?" His opponent shows

Turn:

River:

Karl Mahrenholz has also been a river rat. He spiked a Nine with 9-9 vs K-K to double up.

Can we have regular updates on the Irish please. I see Micky McCloskey in the phot and I think Mike Muldoon and a few others are over. Also keep an eye out for Nick Risdale, he should be wearing a GJP hoodie.

Cheers,

Mike

Is he one of these two guys on the left or right?

Sigh, Flushy thinks he's Carlos Mortensen, I'm marking this a B for effort, but a C for ingenuity, there's very little invention in the design and it leaves me feeling unimpressed. He gets a "MDB" sticker, must do better.

RookieITB has doubled up after getting it all-in with Aces against Ace King.

r
Here's the blonde one, sitting next to him is Cristiano Blanco, who finished second in the Dortmund EPT earlier in the year.

Woooooo!!! Hat of the Day!!!

Neil Channing is OUT, was down to his last 200 chips and had already bought into the cash game in preparation. Cheesy

Ray McKenna (chap in middle of chin on hand photo)

I believe he was the guy with the A-T vs Jan's T-8. Then was all-in with K-3 with vs 2-2, A-4-K-3-5 was the board. Eek!

Blinds went up to 100 200 a short while ago.

Marc Goodwin is found contemplating a call on a A 3 4 9 flop from his opponent who is studying him carefully.  Eventually he folds.....

Carlo Citrone is sitting on a nice pile of chips. (My chip counting abilities clearly need some practise!) He makes it 500 from early position, and is raised to 1200. He shortly reraises another 4-5k and his opponent lays down his hand. Carlo pretends to have forgotten what he had, then checks his cards, giggles as if he has found something amusing and scurries off to have a chat with marc goodwin.

Keith Hawkins makes the strange decision to call a bet on a Q T 7 flop based on the outcome of a coin flip. Heads I fold, tails I call....

The tails promptly arrived and his call with 89 against his opponent's KQ  proved futile as top pair held....

Flushy has been busy, up to 25k. "I've been getting hands but not showing, the whole table thing I'm a thieving git" As flushy is passed the button for the next flop, he threatens to raise if it's passed to him. Bad girl says she'll be limp reraising him. As it turns out neither of them get to dance and you can almost feel their disappointment as a quiet guy in early position raises before everyone passes. He flashes an ace.....

Meanwhile a guy on flushy's table having suffered several bad beats in a short space of time was left with 1200 chips but rather than fight on with 6 big blinds, he simply upped sticks and left. Rumours that he left as flushy kept playing footsy with him under the table have proved unfounded.....

Rookie grabbed me as I wandered by. "I'm half way there!" he says, referring to the bargain we struck earlier where he said he would be on 25k the next time i saw him. "I was down to 3k but won a pot then had AA v AKs to double me up!"

Alex Martin's chips appear to have dwindled and as he overhears rookie's story he says "yeh you got a bloody gift there." He's laughing and joking with the table but I think Alex will be making a move very soon as he swiftly enters "get chips or get drunk" mode.
