SPOILERS ALERT
Was actually fairly happy with Saw V. The first trap (The Pendulum) was pretty brutal to be fair. I liked the teamwork element also. Just ashame that they all couldn't co-operate, though that journalist was a dick. Jigsaw proves again that Leopards rarely change their spots. If the final two come out of that trap to continue living that would be a miracle.
As someone else has said, it seems to ask more questions than solve things. Personally I think this is going to lead into a cracking finale of Saw VI.
I have to laugh at the IMDB Board for some of the comments made on there. Some of them who reckon Hoffman will be tested by Jill Tuck and that Dr Gordon comes back for Saw VI. In saw IV, in the tape found at the autopsy, it says that Hoffman won't walk away untested. I wonder if this basically means, that the pursuit of him by Straum is his test. Rather than him being tested by another accomplice.
I reckon it will all come to an end, and they'll have respect for the series and leave it at #6. They were contracted to do up to Saw VI, and it cannot be dragged out any further than it has been.

Saw on
right now. Intriguing and almost unwatchably gory at the same time.

My take - Spoilers
It was 'decent', flashbacks were intriguing and it should all wrap up nicely in number 6, no more please, even as a big fan. I was a little disappointed with the ending, 'you wont believe how it ends' was the slogan on the trailer, well actually i can quite believe how it ended...
Couple of questions for 6, what was in the box Jill received?
and the 5 ppl put through the test where all involved in the sale and set-up of the house in SAW 2, remember the one filled with gas/needle pit etc etc, but how? The guy, the younger one, how exactly did he 'kill' the 8 ppl, maybe i missed something?

Maybe he was the one who put the nerve gas in that made everybody bleed to death. Must admit I never picked up on that fact during the film.

I suspected it during the film, but it was confirmed when I read 'Nuts' yesterday and the tv guide was explaining SAW 2, saying '8 strangers are locked in a house'...

Went to see Saw V this weekend and was actually surprised at how much I enjoyed it. There is no need for another because the ending gave Jigsaw anonymity - a parting gift from the original...
Imo...
