no, due to access and reporting restrictions (another site paid for exclusivity) in line with those imposed by Harrahs in Vegas it wasn't going to be cost effective to run live updates

I give you an unofficial update, I had to work in London today and did a little moonlighting down to the Casino at the Empire (still sounds like a Star Wars destination).

First time in the casino and its mighty fab, if not a little dark. So dark that I tripped over what I thought was a wooden post? After picking Mr Brunson sr off the floor (embellished anecdote somewhat) I warmly shook him by the hand and he said "Err Hello" with a somewhat worried look on his face. That was just for starters, poker Gods everywhere!

The £2500 horse was down to 27 players when I got near the tables, home heroes like Barney (caption contest) Boatman, Mr Elegance Beavers, Gary (nice green hair) Jones and Mr Cool himself were all doing ok. However the blinds were getting big 800-1500 and the average stack was 40K already. It was nice to see the name players in the flesh, Jeff Madsen, Max Pescatori, Jennifer Harman and John Juanda to name just a few.

The tables are somewhat squeezed upstairs and I found myself jostling for a rail bird spot with Joe Seebok and Marco Trannello (they are both surprisingly small and diminutive in real life!

So to a hand Holdem Folded round to the Button Jan Sorensen, he makes it 3k to go, Joe Beevers Fold in the SB and Jesus dwells then calls the raise to his BB. Flop all low cards check to Mr Sorensen, 1500 to go and a call. I was putting Jan on High Cards! Turn brings another low card Check then Bet 3K and a call. River comes what appears to be a blank check - Bet and just a call. Jan has High cards and Jesus who was down to the felt turns over the low straight. He really wasn't messing about (no value bet though mmm..).

Sorry for the rubbish detail, I must say this updating business is harder than it looks, I'll leave it to the professionals like Jen and Snoops!

Talking of the A team I have arrived home now and was expecting to get some excellent updates from our famous two as I spotted them coming in as I was leaving the casino.

Shock horror NO UPDATES here! Then I look over another unmentionable news for poker type of site and I see we have loaned them out, well I guess they are the best. It seems it wasn't just me who was moonlighting

BTW If anyone is in the London village over the weekend I would recommend going to see some of the action in what is a lovely Casino!!

I hate the term 'A team'. It belittles the rest of the updaters, obviously I can't speak for myself but I can state how hard Rod and Dana have worked during updates and they put no more or no less effort in than Jen and Snoopy. I'm sure the latter two would agree with this as well.

Yes you all work hard and the term isnt too good for the other updaters but Stone didnt mean it to be insulting. You are a great updater too Flopps.

Thanks for you update Stone:) Maybe you should join the A team too? thumbs up

Yes ,I not happy with this situation, as I have a spread bet on numbers with betfair. As I understand it the number is about 350...BUT contrary to the information on their website (registrations close at 1pm today), they are still accepting players up to tomorrow!!.This may also contravene UK regulations  according to some.

I think they can do this. I know that at the GUKPT people could buy in up to the end of Level 2 on Friday...
