Chris Hooper raises to 44k, Julian re-raises 140k more. Hooper moves in for about 50k more, Julian calls.

Hooper shows

Julian has

Board:

Mickey, "You didn't expect that, did you Julian?"

Julian adds another 200k and has over 600k, roughly 1/3 of the chips in play.

Chris Hooper is OUT in 7th place winning £7,150

It's almost as if Julian has a reputation for re-raising with sub-premium hands so no one believes his bets.

Much earlier in the first level, Julian passed 8's on the button to a Mickey Wernick raise to 26k. With both of them then around the 150k mark, there's not much reason to call, he though. What. A. Rock. Cheesy

The blinds are up to 8k 16k with a running 1k ante now...

Julian raises to 46k, everyone passes and Julian receives a smattering of applause as he rakes in the blinds
