Ash Hussain just took some chips off Julian, on a flop of

Ash checked and Julian bet 12k, called

  check check

Ash bets 25k, Julian insta mucks so Ash flips over a proud  two hearts  for the missed flush draw.

Some Chip counts on the way.

Last night Mad Turk won the award for call of the day, but today's bluff of the day has to go to...

That's Adam Wilkinson, at the risk of stating the obvious, but either way, he just pulled off a marvelous steal on the normally very astute Ash Hussain, the Monte Carlo runner upper raising pre-flop and being called in the blind by Adam.

A Flop saw Wilkinson's bet of 8k smooth called by Ash before the Midlander popped out 12k on the Turn. Again, Ash called.

With approximately 45k left, Adam then fired one more bullet, this time 17k on the River.

Ash mulled and mulled. Meanwhile, Adam went through an array of postures, from counting out his chips to staring his opponent down to quietly resting his chin on his hand.

"Will you show if I fold?"

Adam nodded, and on that note, Ash mucked his cards.

So, what do you guys reckon Adam Wilkinson showed?...

QT, no heart

Good golly Miss Molly, do you know this woman?

Being the pro that he is, the ever-consistent Ash Hussain is fighting back after being shown up by Adam Wilkinson earlier, making a standard pre-flop raise before flat-calling Julian's 15k extra re-raise from the big blind.

Both players then proceeded to cagily check down the board before Ash bet circa 20k on the river, a sum that was reluctantly called by Julian, even more so when Ash turned over Pocket Eights.

"I reckon he had Queens," mused Rutter.

Ok I did bok Trevor Reardon, he has been shortstack for a long while now and just waiting for his moment to stick em in.  That he did with  three diamonds  for about 20k but Tony Cartwright looked him up with his  and it stood up.  Trevor out in 13th place.

Tony Cartwright

Party time here at the Broadway as the players all agree to take 2k off first and second so 11th and 12th go home with a grand in their relieved pockets.

And this all means...

Quite a few people watching the latter stages of this event. Who's everyone supporting? If you notice, my pick (ahem) from yesterday, Matt Tyler, is still flying high. See, I'm not just a pretty face.

One happy chappy who wasn't resisting the deal was Rob Sherwood who currently has 36.5 in chips.

He's in fact the only one who doesn't have a 5k chip.

"I don't want one," he responded when I offered to steal him. "They're girlie pink ones."
