I'd like to see Michael 'Valentino' Artemis take it down. I have a copy of his Omaha book, it's a work of genius.

At table Thew, Julian makes a 9k raise preflop and his neighbour
Rob
Sherwood
goes all in for an extra 25k. Julian DID dwell, but makes the half reluctant call with
. Rob shows
for a race and the poker gods dealt out a cruel board of :
and Julians King high flush is good for the pot.
Rob
Sherwood
just as the cards were flipped over:
So
Rob
Sherwood
gets 12th & a handy money back £1,000.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

I've been watching Table Tyler recently just to get a feel of who's doing what. Whilst most of it is raise fold fold fold poker with everyone taking it turns to nab those blinds, the most active player is actually the shortest, Michael Millas pushing in and out like there's no tomorrow. In just a few minutes, I saw him show A-7 and 8-8, but it's no mess poker from the Solihullian.
Meanwhile, Tony Cartwright picked up Aces under-the-gun at one point but found no action. Matt Tyler grabbed the cards and started rubbing them profusely. "I just wanted to see what they felt like," he grinned.

Thank you, Dewi.
That potential heads up encounter has just taken a hit though...

A huge pot just developed, it started with a 10.5k raise from Ash Hussain, Julian reraised for another 35k more. Ash quickly moves all in and its another 66.5k for Julian to make the call. He stops and counts and stops and think he feels that sinking feeling. He does make the call tho and
Ash shows
Julian
No miracles for Julian and a 240k pot is shipped over to Ash Hussain. Julian is left with a massive hole where alot of his chips used to be.

Oh, I nearly forgot our signature for the almighty bubble time. He could have sued us for loss of earnings if I'd excluded him.

About 5 hands after monster hand, its blind on blind action with Adam Wilkinson & Julian Thew. Adam makes it another 8k from the small blind and Julian calls. The flop comes:
Adam immediately moves all in for a big 55,500 and Julian has to go in the think tank again, alot of decisions today for the Thewster!! But again he makes the call and their holdings are:
Adam
Julian
Turn
River
So thats it, Julian gets back a big chunk of what he lost to Hussain, Adam Wilkinson gets knocked out in 11th place for £1,000 and we have a Final to begin soon with Pics & Counts to follow.
