And final table bubble play has been understandably cagey, with a lot of button-raisey blind steals, and the occasional button-raisey-one-of-the-blinds-re-raisey moment, mainly at the expense of Ashfag Ahmed, who doesn't seem to be able to find an Ace or a pair without someone having a bigger one.

- Simmonds bets the pot, 56k. Chief asks for a count. Jeff Burke starts to sing, "And it's getting better..." There is now some considerable time to wait while Chief stacks and re-stacks his chips. He stands up. A crows has formed. He looks like he's going to make a speech. Jeff Burke has got up from his seat too and is now whispering to me, "He's going to fold. I predict it." But he doesn't.
