I'm afraid I don't know what happened to Stuart Rutter but he has gone in the last 10 minutes!

Maybe it's the camouflage and you can't see him... Roll Eyes

It's been a while since we've enjoyed a good old fashioned Mateyboy encounter, and I'm going to have to keep you waiting for a while longer, but I did spot half of one, Victor Escudero Mellado (left) calling Mateyboy's (right) 3.5k bet on the River of a board. Mateyboy showed to take the pot, whilst the Spaniard's expression of heightened disgruntlement was surely a sign of a nasty beat.

Not great news for the 2 Hitsquaders here, Praz lost a hefty pot holding JT suited on a J 9 8 board but the  and the club river gave four clubs on board and the flush with Aces for mateyboy.  Praz currently on 4,400.

Karl Mahrenholz was fairing a little better but just got involved in a pot with Alan Vinson and another mateboy no less.  I arrived after the river  Roll Eyes on this board

Alan Vinson bet out 2,500 and Karl reraised to 7,000.  Mateyboy just made the call and Alan passed, leaving Karl a little annoyed at being shown Q9 for two pair, although Karl was indicating that whatever mateyboy had must have been good!  Busted flush perhaps? Karl now on 7,000.

Alan Vinson now on 16,000

Julian Thew doubled up off Antony Lellouch with Queens versus A-K.

Paul Gourlay dropped to 21k after paying off Thor Hansen's Aces on a Ten high board.

Praz Bansi is now OUT, and wondering if he will ever get that vital luck or just the avoidance of bad luck would be sufficient.  After beeing knocked down low he picked up pockets tens and must have been happy to be up agasint 66.  That was until his oppo made a straight with his 6 and Praz could have done with not hitting trip tens on this occassion!

The legend that is Sir Mickey Wernick of Wernickville is now frequenting the rail. He clashed in a battle of the generations encounter with Tronde Eidsvig, the young whizkid check-raising Mickey's 2.5k bet on a two spades Flop to 7.5k. Mickey called the extra 5k before calling again when Tronde pushed all-in for his remaining chips on the Turn.

"I need a King," requested Mickey politely as he was shown .

But with Mickey's two hearts is bad shape, drawing to just the one out apparently, no miracle was granted leaving him to exit stage left with a forced smile.

"It was either a set or nothing," concluded The Worm.

Ali Mallu puts Steven Van Zadelhoff to the test with a deep reach on an two hearts board. The Dutchman has 10k left with 5k in the pot, but makes the fold nonethless. Ali, meanwhile, is now threatening the 50k mark.
