Hi guys,

Great coverage as usual. But it would be far more interesting for your french readers if you could gie us details on 2 franchies : Ludovis Lacay (CL at the start of the day) and Guillaume de la Gorce.

Thanks ,

The players are now on a 15 min break.  I will locate your 2 French friends as soon as they restart.  We should also have a full chip from all the players in the next half an hour.

let us know  how josh gould  doing please

Josh Gould is on 40k after eliminating Terry Cook with A-K vs. K-Q, small blind versus button.

Also notice blondeite 'Lucky Blind' Mike Lacey hovering in the background and making it more of a 'Where's Wally?' photo.

2007 Grand Prix de Paris runner upper, Iceland's Runar Runarsson, was just caught with his pants down. Betting 7k on a three clubs board, he was re-raised all-in by Holland's Gijsbertus Spijkers and felt impelled to fold even though it was only several thousand more.

I notice that Josh has opted for the slick-couple-of-buttons-undone-in-order-to-reveal-the-odd-silky-strand-of-chest-hair technique that worked so well for Welsh love machine Tom Jones.

Rocketman just joined us in the press room at the break, "not so great" says the man himself.  He is down to 9,000 after hitting the heights of 23,000 but back down again.  He says he is gonna push regardless now after the break.  Also Ash Hussain has gone downwards instead up today, but we shall have a full count any time soon.

I just seen Richard Ashby leaving, he is OUT after runing 4's into J's.

Annette Obrestad is happy and on around 50,000

If Punk is John Conroy, then he's already gone.

Chris Smith and Martin Green, meanwhile, have 18,800 and 21,200 respectively.

"I f***ed up," announced an honest Liam Flood as he approached the press room.

J-T versus the Q-Q of Andy Black doesn't sound particularly bad in itself, but when you add the phrase 'all-in pre-flop', then take a slightly darker turn.

Before that 'accident', I did manage to snap Liam Flood with his very own personalised button, many of which are scattered across the cardroom. According to the Irishman, the guy on the phone said, "Tell you what, we'll stick your name on em too," and Liam just shrugged his shoulders and said okay. Fair enough.

Moments before his untimely exit, Andy Black exclaimed in his usual boisterous manner, "Can we have a non Liam Flood button please whilst Liam's on the table? It's a tremendous advantage."

Courtesy of Chili:

Thierry Van Der Berg has been knocked out by Anitjonor Aleksandr with J-J vs. 2-2.

Kevin Vreeswijk is also out after moving in with 9-7 versus the 7-7 of Johannes Steindl. The Sevens stood up.

Surinder Sunar has been eliminated by Ramzi Jelassi. No further details.

Paul Gourlay doubled through by going all-in with 6-3 and hitting a full house. Then he found Aces on the big blind and one non-beleiver. The Rocket Man now up to 28,000.

Neighbour Ash Hussain also has 28,000.
