pretty sure that they originally stated 7 but they've definitely been calling this the penultimate series. gonna be a real struggle to tie up all the loose ends that quickly

It has been set in stone as 6 for at least 18 months now, a contract was agreed with abc to do 3 16 program series before season 4 started. This went slightly awry due to the writers strike last year.
Next weeks is the last in the series and is a doubleheader.
