I hope we don't see the back of Stuart Rutter & Praz Bansi anytime again soon:

Before I head back down to the pit of action, I don't know about you lot but I am really not a fan off flat stacking your chips:

It looks so playschool.

Where as the tall tower stacks I am much a fan of, If only I could practice such towers in comps.  This would mean staying in long enough and actually get chip leads maybe once in a while.

Think Dan Carter is embarrased by the gay amount of orange 25 chips in his towers!!!

Matt Tyler departed a while ago, his A-Q no good against super aggressive Mick Fletcher's A-K on an Ace high board.

Karl Mahrenholz has a £50 bet with Jeff Kimber about getting above 50k before the end of the day, looks like the money is going the way of Jaffacake unless Karl has a rush in the last hour as he only has about 10k.

Nick Gibson is OUT.

Praz Bansi has doubled up after re-raising all-in with and hitting against . Why do I always miss when I make said move?

Dan Owston gets all-in against the awesomely named Costas Kkola (it's £1.29 in my local supermarket - unless on offer)

Dan:

Costas:

Board:

two spades

A big cheer for the Welshman from his supporters.

We're now on a break before the last level, and one of the ladies here has brought us jam and toast! YAY!.

Praz Bansi must feel elated at the heady heights of 15,500, going from 2,175 to this in the last 2 hours.

They are on the last break of the night now and come back to play one more level.

85 players left
av 23,500
400/800  (75)

We shall a have a full chip count some time soon after this fifteen minute break.

nice updates guys, gl to the Lutononian players Danny Sampson, Damon D'Cruz and Dave Lloyd if he's there. Also lots of luck to all blondes playing including (but not exclusive to) Rick Trigg, UptheMariners + Silo.

Also noticed Mick Fletcher with chips, gr8 player imo.

Ok Alex, don't believe Rick Trigg has played at all, neither has Dave Lloyd mate.  Also think Damon Dcruz is out, maybe you should look at previous chip counts first LOL.

UpTheMariners is looking good with over 50k now.

Willie Tann moves in on a and forces Ariston to fold, a few minutes later there's a board and Ariston is moving all-in, the player in seat one calls for all his chips and Ariston flicks over and then seat 1 shows and Ariston's face can only be given an artist's impression at this point, as shown below:

He's down to the felt, and there's an angry rant directed at no-one in particular

chip count for Ash please Snoops

I had a major part in his demise - foolishly chasing a gutshot down to the river after he had increased his bet size each street. Upon hitting my straight I thought Ash had checked the river as I saw him tap the table but he didnt say check so I value bet 2k chips. He said he was going to make it 4k chips before I had 'bet out of turn'. Anyway he called the 2k chips which left him crippled - me very embarassed to have won the pot this way. (He had KK on a Q high flop - myself J 10)

The Orbit earlier he had shown some master poker against me in a button vs BB confrontation - needless to say I wanted to learn and not be intimidated but suffered 2 hours of needle from the rest of the table for the pot.

There were some really other funny hands too. I bust out on Level 8 with about 13k left - losing my coin flip 99 vs AQ.
Once again another great event will look forward to playing 4 or 5 again next year
