Writing a prologue for a Day 1B is always really tough, since essentially all we can say is, "Here we going again..." so trying to come up with something new and inventive but not repetitious is a real challenge. A challenge I'm trying to get around by simply referring to it as a challenge...
Day 2 is easier, because you can always talk about the big stacks, who is looking good and who you reckon is playing well and whether 'so-and-so will blow his massive chip lead for the third competition running...'
Then when you get to the final day there's always an excellent story about at least one or two of the players, be it good or bad and you can build up the final table and whether this one will be a classic, and usually my predictions are absolutely
dead on the money completely wrong in all ways. For example a few days ago in Bristol, the line-up was absolutely brilliant but somehow, through no fault of the players or structure, it just didn't seem to work for me as a spectacle or a poker fan, (though when it comes out on TV, knowing my luck, it'll be a cracker).
So how to describe Day 1B...
I could begin by naming a few players who'll be around. But most viewers will know if a regular wasn't playing yesterday, he or she is most likely playing today. I could try and get around it by just posting the chip counts from last night, but they're already here:

Oh and play will begin at 3pm.
Here we go again.
