Well it's a complete sell-out today, we've already got 3 alternatives waiting to play. Alan Vinnicombe is the first casualty with Nick Gibson the beneficiary, but all he would say was, "the ideal card I wanted was a club that paired the board..." He'd housed up with Tens whereas Vinnicombe was holding .

Barry Neville has already lost a big 8k pot, passing to a milky 2k bet on the river of a three diamonds .

Dan Owston has hit a straight flush already with on a Two Clubs three clubs board extracting a fair number of chips from the utterly fabulously named Ben Dong who was holding a six.

Barny Boatman, fresh from his success in Bristol, just won a 4,000 pot from Chunkymick, on a board with .

Dan Carter is wishing he stayed at the bar to get his food as he's already down to 9,000.

Deffo OUT already:

S Pearl (K-T vs A-T on a Ten high board vs Craig Holloway)
Nam Le
Luke Trotman (Apparent flopped straight vs Chris Gavriel's flopped flush with )
David la Ronde (Q-Q vs Richard Ashby's A-A)

Julian Thew is already down to just 2k, he held J-7 on a J-9-7 board only to run Steven Chandler's Nines. A 7 came on the turn, giving Thewy the wrong side of the house.

Dominic Kay is sadly down to about 5,000.  He is a vocal fella, and has just been involved in a hand where he was reraised and dwelled for a quite a while.  Ariston, not wanting to be out done on the yapping stakes said "Mate, I'm not gonna call the clock on you in a second, I'm gonna call the calender on you!"

-----------------------------------------------

Dan Carter has doubled up through scouser Terence Page in rather excitingly outdrawtastic circumstances.  On board of :

Dan bet out 1,800 in first position which tickled Terence into a 4,000 reraise.  Dan had a long hard think but couldn't pass his    .  He announced all in with an InstaCall from Terence and an InstaQuote from Dan "You have Ace 4 don't you?"

Indeed Terence did have A 4 but a sick  on the turn and  on the river, sent the chips over to master Carter and a tasty 20,100 stack now for him.

Roberto the Filth Merchant...

Mr Romanello checked call bets of 1,200 and 1,000 on a two hearts board before betting out 2,500 on the river, his opponent quickly calling with , Roberto showed two spades...

Julian Thew has doubled up, pushing for 1.5k over the top of a 500 bet on a three clubs Two Clubs and getting called. Julian showed , which looked as though they maybe vunerable until the bettor showed !

Mark Robinson, Dave Penly and H Yilmaz are all OUT.

And we are now, slightly oddly on a *************************1 Hour Dinner Break********************

I've just got back from a short pool session with Dan Carter and Stuart Rutter, I've got to be honest and say Stuart is possibly the worst player ever! But at the same time, he's probably the most exciting, as you generally don't know where the balls are going to go. Sadly in the comp, he's only got around 4k at the moment.

I'm afraid, Colonel, the Camel is not here. He's not on the list, therefore he's not coming in! Wink

Play is just about to restart with the blinds 75/150

News just in is that Barry Neville is OUT.  A big pot apparently with 3 way action, the short stack Mike Lott was all in on a flop of:

Muntaser Humadi made a bet and Barry moved all in over the top.  Muntaser called, on their backs with:

Neville
Muntaser

Muntaser takes the pot and knocks both players out.

Julian Thew is OUT. No details as yet, the previous hand he'd actually doubled up to 7k so a standard Thewy rollercoaster. Nevertheless, one of these days he'll get that big tourney win that he's due... Wink

Priyan De Mel is OUT. A couple of calculated bluffs that went wrong, first with A-Q on a J-T-2-9-7 board that ran into Eights. Then he fired three barrels again into an A-2-3-A-7 board but was check/called by A-J.

Matt Tyler is having a turbulent time, he raised from the cut-off which the button, small and big blinds called. Matt can't remember the exact flop, but he hit a pair and a gutshot draw and lead for 600, the button min-raised and the blinds passed. Sensing weakness, Matt set him in for 6,000 more and was INSTA-called by erm, A-6 for no hand no draw, except the foe managed to hit runner runner straight to knock Matt to just about 1,500. He managed to double up with T-T vs Tim Flander's 6-4 on an 8-6-4 board when the turn brought a second 8 to counterfeit and has since had his Aces paid off and is back up to 13k. A bizarre half-an-hour...

Chris Gavriel is OUT. One of the 'big moves' mentioned earlier that went wrong.

In other news C T Law has doubled up to 25,000 through Jerome Bradpiece.

Nick Hicks is OUT after practically only playing 2 hands all day, the first dent was Kings against Aces and the nail in the coffin was a sick JJ v 88 only for an 8 to smack onto the felt for his oppo..

Relatively frustrating days for both Ash Hussain and Chaz Chattha, both struggling away with just 4k and seemingly unable to get started.

'Skalie' John Kalmar is OUT. He held K-Q on a K-7-J board against the double gutshotting T-9 which hit on the river. Adam Wilkinson has also exited, the decibel level won't change much though since Mad Marty Wilson is still there...

Richard Hawes, in seat 9, and who is very much a Beck lookalike or 'Beckalike' has just exited to the hands of Jason Shellum in seat 10.

Beckalike bet 2,500 on the turn of a board an Shellum set him in, Hawes called with whilst Shellum had him drawing dead with ...
