********* BREAKING NEWS **********

THE CODD has been WHALLOPED ~(booo) Silo Graham Codd is OUT.  3 Limpers so Silo made up his small blind with 56.  The flop was 5 6 7  and Silo bet out 15,000 only to have Kevin Steward with around 150k in chips re raise him.  With not much left behind, Silo was left to put in the rest of his chips and saw he was done for with trip 6's for Steward.

Well played though Graham, a great run non the less, be proud!

Is TLe still in? thanks

I'm afraid he just went out.  I saw a flop of

and about 27,000 in the pot.  Tuan bet out 24,000 and his opponent pushed him all in.  Tuan called with  for top with tons of outs and matey had only  .

Turn    River

to send Tuan Le cruelly out the tournament after going so deep.

Short stacks are flying out all over the place. First Paul Parker doubles his meagre stack with against James Akenhead's As on a Q-J-3-5-6 board. Then James Akenhead gets his double up through Greek Jack with vs , hitting a flush.

Next it's Greek Jack's turn, but instead he goes out in a 100k pot to Ben Vinson, all-in with on a board against Vinson's flopped nuts with .

Mickey Wernick is OUT, Q-2 against J-T. The first three cards were K-J-9.

Praz Bansi is crippled with against Day 1 Chip leader Paul Murphy when the board came Two Clubs .

Chip Leader looks to be Paul Murrell. Though he just doubled up Jeff Kimber when the latters' Tens held vs A-K.

As Floppy said, it really feels like carnage at the moment.

Andy Booth and Matt Mcinelly still ok please?

They are both OUT

Martyn Kavanagh makes a raise with K5, was reraised and decided that "sometimes best equity is to pass" leavin him with only 12,000.  Correctly so because matey showed him AA.  Next hand its Martyn's big blind, he is all in against 3 players and trebles up with 6 7 on a 8 10 5 7 Q board.  Now upto 30k.

James Akenhead doubled up Paul Parker with K 10 v Paul's 10's and left himself with about 25,000.  Shortly after that James makes a raise with 7 9 was reraised by Ben Vinson and a committed and maybe slightly annoyed James put the rest of his chips in.  Ben Vinson held AQ and a hit a Q ontop of things to send James OUT.

Praz is crippled when he calls the all-in of Lee Atherton with only to be facing and is down to around 20k. Not much with the blinds 3k/6k.

One of the big stacks now is Neil Channing with circa 300k after a sick runner of Aces and kings. He's always aware of the position he's in and the situation of the tournament at the moment...

"It's almost the bubble? I had no idea."

Ok, well he's mostly aware.

Here he is with fellow big stacks Paul Murrell and Julian Gardner. The Fat Cats.

Ok, I'm lying, they're actually here.

I Yusef is knocked OUT by Paul Parker.  Yusef went all in under the gun for 50,700, Parker then spent at least a couple of minutes thinking, thinking & thinking only to go all in.  Everyone else passes and on their backs:

Yusef
Parker

Kings hold up and then a barrage of light hearted abuse is sent Paul Parker's way.  To the tune of "WTF was the dwell all about?"  "what were you thinking about?"  "Where you trying to get the another caller?"  Even someone from the extensive rail joins in "BRAVE call Paul!"

Praz Bansi is OUT in 28th place. He pushed with and Ben Vinson was priced into calling with from the big blind.

Board:

.

Not sure how he missed there if I'm honest. A couple of hands earlier Paul Murphy had doubled through Paul Parker with vs .

Neil Channing wants the Climber of the Day award, after arriving at table 1 with 9.2k on the 1k/2k level and turning it into and the chip lead.

And it's....Bubble Time!

Jeff Kimber is our bubblee, Ben Vinson moved in on his big blind, and Jeff, who didn't want to limp into the money called for his largish 120k with A-Q. Ben turned over K-7. The board came 4-9-7-2-4 and all remaining players are guaranteed £2,100.

John Worsley goes all in from UTG for only 14,000, with blinds at 4k / 8k Lee Biddulph min reraises to 18,000.  Everybody passes and

Worsley
Biddulph

Lee Biddulph spikes an Ace on the Turn to send John Worsley OUT in 27th.

-------------------------

On Table 1, UTG raises to 24k, Paul Gardner makes a min raise to 50,000.  Action goes round to Marcus Bebb-Jones who goes all in for just under 50k.  The original raiser passed so the cards were on their backs.

Marcus BebbJones
Paul Gardner

The board came out in this fashion    two spades three clubs  three diamonds

Marcus BebbJones let out a gutting sound that we all felt for him whilst Paul Gardner let out a raucous raw.......hmmmm  Marcus OUT in 26th.
