Bomber limps. Trimby limps. Whitty limps. Derek Thorpe, however, shoves for 124k.

Jen folds her big blind. Bomber Nolan dwells for long enough for a really decent crowd to develop and he counts out  ALL his chips - but then folds. Michael Trimby calls though.

Derek Thorpe -

Michael Trimby -

Board -  Two Diamonds two hearts

And Derek doubles up. Doesn't he look happy?

We have just had another big pot between Rob Taylor and Bomber Nolan...

I joined the hand on the river of a K-5-T-7-2 flop.

Nolan checked the river and Rob bet out but was check-raised allin. Now pretty short, and having been pushed around by Nolan all day, he made the call, only to find Nolan with a hand for once, holding T-2 for a rivered 2 pair...

Sadly I couldn't see Rob's hand but Nolan's Brunson-esque 2 pair was good, meaning...

Rob Taylor is OUT, eliminated in 8th position, winning €4,500

Here he is completing his exit interview with the lovely Rhowena...

The pace has changed somewhat - the players are now taking turns to shove from the button while everyone else folds.

Jen remains your Glorious Chip Leader (Guests, you'll have to sign in to see the pointless entertaining frippery below - do it do it do it).

Michael Trimby was just allin!

Seeing a flop in a raised pot of , he got all his chips into the middle and was called by Bomber!

Bomber showed for the flush draw whilst Michael held for 2 pair.

Bomber showed he IS human after all and can miss though as a and river to fill up Michael up gave him a much needed double up and stopped the almost incessant flow of chips to Bomber.

"That's how you play a short stack folks!" yelled Michael in glee as he stacked his newly won assortment of chips...

Jimmy Kiernan just pushed allin and was called! by none other than the man in every pot, Bomber Nolan...

Jimmy showed , and bomber showed the almost, but not quite identical, .

"Don't call split till it's over" warned Neil Kelly and two clubs on the flop suggested Bomber might get lucky...

A non-club turn though meant it was all over bar the singing and yes folks we had a...

Jen limps utg-plus-one. Michael Trimby raises to 200k. Jen Mason reraises all in, and Michael calls. Waahhhhh the excitement, people are falling off of chairs trying to see the table...

Jen -

Michael -

Board -

And Michael Trimby doubles up. We have a new chip leader (stacks in their photos below not accurate - I took them a while back but think they look appropriate here).

Meanwhile the €250 event has been won by one George Powell, I believe, all the way from Waterford. He wins a tasty €7,500. Well done that man.

Derek Thorpe just moved allin and was looked up by Ian Whittey.

He tabled As and looked in bad shape against Ian's .

However he hit his 3 outer on a 2-6-7-8-3 flop and doubled through, not for the first time, with a dominated hand.

He simply refuses to die!

Snoopy (sadly OUT of the €150 - that's €15 I'm not going to see again Sad ) called me over to the tv table. "I think there's something going on. There's lots of red and purple chips in the middle. Is that bad?"

Jimmy Kiernan was all in utg-but-one and limper Bomber Nolan was considering what to do. Eventually, in a show of uncharacteristic restraint, from what we've seen of his play today, he folds an Ace face up. Kiernan also shows an Ace. I think Bomber claimed a Queen with it - and Kiernan shows the King.

Laughs Rob Taylor, next to me by the rail - "He only plays A-K. Every time I was in a hand with him he had A-K. It's so annoying."

Just to keep you up to speed there are 2 minutes left of the 10k 20k 2k level before we move to 15k -30k-3k...

An amazing hand just played out...

After Derek Thorpe raised preflop he was called by both Bomber and Ian Whittey...

The flop came two hearts and first to act Bomber moved allin!

Ian sighed, and eventually passed and Derek called instantly.

Derek showed , Nolan for top pair and a gutshot...

The turn was a sick , giving Nolan the straight and Derek the flush draw...

Amazingly though the river came the meaning there was a straight on the board, which both players were playing!

Bomber reached over to shake Derek's hand and Derek started preparing to leave the table, feeling terrible his Kings were cracked before it was pointed out to him "You're still in you know!"

He sat down as one of the most relieved men ever to have not won a pot with KK v 56
