Grr  Can anyone name a scale where 100 is the worst?!

I think 100 on the Richter Scale would be pretty bad.

Short-stacked Dave Gregory is out courtesy of Davood Merhmand A-K into Aces.

Other exits are Jeff Duvall who slowplayed Kings against Roberto Romanello, but allowed Ash Hussain to come into the pot with three clubs Two Clubs and flop two pair on a Q-2-3 board.

It's not all smiles for Travolta Hussain though, as Zafar Aslam is OUT, holding versus Chris Moore's flopped flush on a board.

I stopped by Barny Boatman's table to loiter and got rewarded with some kind of hand.  On a board of

Barny bet out 400 and was called by Jon Murphy, the river was

Barny bet out 1,000 and Jon passed.  Well not really an exciting or big pot but Jeff Rogers says "go on show the bluff Barny"  by this time Barny had an audience, a wall of poker scribblers errrrr scribbling.  He says "go on then, Ill show this time" and turns over pocket fours for the floptabulous quads.  Barny seemed pretty well chuffed with himself even though proclaiming how small the pot was....Pah!

We're on a break. Oh but you already know that because of the clock...Roll Eyes

Meanwhile the players have been told about a wrap awards ceremony taking place on Monday night, which includes a player of the year, best/worst move, bad beat of the year and a best dressed player of the year and a worst dressed player of the year.

I'm backing Paul Parker for the last two awards.

There aren't too many here who have travelled the seas to join us a the Vic, but one who has in Martin Vallo of Denmark, a regular on the European poker scene. Now I'm no expert in body language (the language of love is my only specialty!) but I'd say that he wished he'd stay at home.

I'm very impressed so far. Not one person has asked what the blinds are. Surely we can't last the day?

Okay, forget it, that was meant to be the Jaws theme, but it just doesn't work when you write it down.

Anyhow, the point of that, was a drum roll of sorts or a sense of dread as I introduce today's Table of Doom and Ceeeeeeeeeeeertain Death.

Ian Frazer
Marc Goodwin
Ian Nelson
Richard Herbert

Vicky Coren
John Kabbaj

This young whipper snapper is Lalit Khajuria, a familiar face down Luton way. He just won a pot with a 1.2k bet on a two hearts board but still has around his 15k starting stack.
