it will be pretty lame if they use the same structure/start chips for this event as they have done for the tournaments leading up to it.
does anyone know how long play on d1 will last for?

Peekaboo, chaps and chapettes and welcome to the opening day of the inaugural GUKPT Grand Final. Yes, I know, I can't hold back my excitement either!

After 5 hours kip and a good ol cheeseburger for breakfast, I'm now set up in the cardroom and raring to go. I'm prudently awaiting my opportunity to pounce on a vacant plug hole, but I did have a quick peek in the cardroom, of which is admittedly rather tumbleweedy at the present time with Ash Hussain, Jeff Burke and Jim Reid the only faces I spotted. However, it's still early doors, and poker players aren't renowned for their punctuality, so I fully expect there to be a last minute rush.

I can confirm that the starting stack is 15,000, rather than the usual 10,000, so there should be plenty of play, especially with the inevitably long Red-Dog-like structure.

Once I've unearthed the Holy Grail and sourced my laptop with the power it's going to require to get through the day I'll pop down and grab a few quick snaps of those poker studs!

Well I'm not there, just trying to be helpful, so I could well be wrong - I'm sure one of the updaters will confirm when they come online Smiley
