Sacked Santa isn't laughing now

A SANTA in an Australian department store said today he had been sacked for saying "ho ho ho" to children.

The employment company which supplies stores with Father Christmases had earlier asked its Santas to say "ha ha ha" because the word "ho", which is American slang for whore, could offend women, media reported.

I make them right, it's potentially disrespectful to women, they could have a law suit on their hands.

Especially as most birds are thick enough to mistake jolly St nick bouncing a kid around on his knee shouting "Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas" as a sexual insult Roll Eyes

Just because you live abroard it doesn't mean you can get away with this - next time I go shopping I may take a wrong turn and end up in your country - just you watch out.

What is it about December? All of a sudden all the guys on the forum think there is a 'it's not ok to have a go at the girlies' amnesty!   Grin

Sounds like another made up story from the 'anti-pc' brigade.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/christmas2006/story/0,,1967367,00.html Had a good take on it - a couple of years old, but most of these moral outrage stories are a pile of pish.

PS not slagging you - just pointing out that these things are made up for a reason, to try and get the normal people to support the political 'leaders'.

Yes, a friend of mine used to work at one of the news agencies and said they often used to make up stories and see which newspapers would print them. August was the peak time for this but festive stories at Christmas were also popular.
