Live £250+25 f/o - 54 runners, 15 left (8 at our table) blinds 1500/3000 stack 24500 (having donked 20k trying to knock someone off a hand about 45 mins ago) so average c.36k

Also - pays down to 9th = £270 going up to over £5k for 1st

Dealt QQ in BB

UTG +1 min raises to 6k - he is CL at table (c 70k) and fairly active and will raise with any pp and any 2 broadway cards plus other hands but has folded to big reraises previously

Mid position goes all in for c.35k - he has been fairly quiet but recently doubled up defending his BB with ATo

Folds round to me with my QQ and 7 BBs left - do/can/should I fold?

Additionally if my stack was 40k plus would this make the decision different?

In your stacks case there is 0 decision in my opinion. QQ is just too big here. At this stage of the tourney these hands are fantastic opportunities to get a stack. You will likely be HU and could well be in good shape. I would shove with 40k also.

Think it's an easy call. The guy who pushed may have pushed with a weaker hand than he normally would due to the raiser being active and the fact he has been folding to large reraises.

I never thought about passing here but I did have a sense of doom and would rather in a way have pushed in to the next unopened pot.

I did call and UTG+1 folded 55 and the MP raiser had KK
