Pete Linton just OUT in 9th, losing a race with Keith Littlewood who regains the chip lead from Dave Smith

When we lose one more player, we conclude for the night

I understand why they are finishing now with only 7 being paid, but is there any arguement from the players that they might as well finish it up tonight with only 7 left. Seems a bit odd coming back with 7 players for day 2 of 2 day event.

Oh while your there can we (Norwich) rely on Leicester being one of the 3 teams we need to finish below us this season?

Pat Kelley makes a small raise on the button to 3600.
The blinds, Berridge and Smith, both call and see a flop of:

  three clubs

Berridge checks, Smith dwells up before pushing all in, Kelley gets out of the way and Berridge calls...

Berridge had
Smith had

Turn and river

And Richard Berridge was eliminated in 8th place.

However play is continuing until 4am tonight.

As he left Berridge said "I just didn't believe you had the king".

Blinds are now 1k-2k with 200 ante, totals 4400 so it's worth stealing!

Next one out is guaranteed £1240.

UTG Micky Wernick makes it 5500, Hongji Lui pushes all in.

Micky is about to call when he drops some chips in his hot chocolate and decides it's a bad omen and passes, saying he has AJ.

Hongji shows 99.

Table Wernick - big hand between Pete Linton and Rana Gurnam from Cardiff.

Flop goes    Pete bets 2075 into a pot of 3500. Rana calls.

Turn  . Rana bets 4k leaving him 9925 behind. Pete calls.

River   . Rana goes all in for his 9925. Pete calls, insta mucks when he sees Rana's  .

Nice pot for Rana.

News just in from Dingdell
Paul Jackson is using his "something" technique to gain an advantage...

Dave Smith bets 4k and Paul Jackson reraises to about 12k, places many stacks side by side...

Dave passes, but PJ didn't notice!

Dingdell here - chips going in nice and gently here.

3 players - button, SB and BB - Keith Littlewood, Lui and Ben.

Flop goes  . SB & BB check - Keith bets 2000 (min bet)

Lui folds and Ben flat calls

Turn

Ben checks, Keith bets 5k and gets reraised by Ben to 10k. Keith calls.

River comes  two spades

Ben checks as does Keith.

Ben turns over  two spades for flopped flush,  Keith had  .

Should Ben have bet the river - or was he trapping, or wise to think he might be out flushed?

Last Hand, Dave Smith limps, ActionJack completes from the SB, Keith Littlewood pumps it up 10k from the BB and all pass. He shows AKo.

Micky Wernick has now suggested that they have a chip count instead of coming back tomorrow...
