I must try this being a Dad lark one of these days, it seems to change peeps so much.

In an exchange of PM's with Phil - to whom both blonde & myself will, for different reasons, be forever indebted, about this & that - poker, golf, football, whatever, I made the mistake of asking how the baby was.

Well, you've never seen anything like it, & I hope Phil Posts it up here. He started going on about percentiles, (whats?) at birth, x%, at 6 weeks, x+%, and now, x+% divided by 3, twice as much as other kids of the same age. My eyes glazed over after a while, but the pride is lovely. The PM ran to 38 pages, sheesh.

hey thanks very much, I was tempted to say if anyone does find out who the daddy is can they let me know and I will get the bugger!!!

Seriously, I promised Tikay some pics but couldnt work out how to upload them, thankfully the Mrs is head of education and I am head of light entertainment at the mo so Connor should get her brains and my cunning wit.

As for the pm about percentile grows and the like my world has opened up to so many new and wonderful moments after having a lovely baby after some years of hoping and at first weigh Connor had a percentile(?) figure of 2%. This means that 98% of babies his age were bigger than him, his figure last week when he had his weigh in was 75% so he has grown to be in the top 25% of babies his age. His weight gain is almost the same percentage increase as my wieght gain has been during the last 5 months too and he has a little pot belly now. Thats ma boy!!

Thanks very much for the kind words I hope in years to come we have as much enjoyment as we have had in the last 5 months.

must be someone elses house, Phil has never spent that much on presents in his life !!!

lol Kev, you have never seen owt like it. He had 40 presents to open on Christmas day, when I was a lad we got an apple and an orange and sum chocolate raisins. Connor got outfits, toys, gadgets, that huge play station thing he is sitting in but at least he adhered to one major Christmas rule, he played with the wrapping paper more than the presents.
