Bird pics always welcome! Great action shots, speshly the pied wagtail, or Gypsy bird.
"Oke Romano Chiriklo Dikasa E Kalen"
"Behold A Wagtail...And You Shall See The Gypsies"
Why do they call the wagtail the gypsy bird? I've never heard the term up here. They're one of my favourite birds feeding on the scraps from the feeders, not from the feeders themselves.

DAMN!
It was supposed to be ok this week-end, but changed as of this morning. Now it's mostly going to be cloudy with occasional showers all week-end...including Sunday when we've got Dingdell over for a bbq. Timing is everything. Good job I don't mind cooking in the rain.

This is an attempt at uploading pictures from a little tiny teeny weeny gas powered computer with a 6 inch screen.
BTW- This is not a holiday snap, it's a picture of my lawnmower taken to illustrate the perils of pulling rather than pushing.
Note: The wheels on one side become completely clogged with grass cuttings.

I took the kids upto Brigg horse fair on Saturday. They love watching the boys racing them up and down the street. My favourite bit is watching the guys buying and selling, no idea what was going on but got really heated.
Catherine had her fortune told, I don't believe any of it of course but the lady told Catherine stuff that you just could not take a guess at but was 100% accurate.

As the forum's sharpener-in-chief I have a knotty problem which you might be able to solve.
Would it be possible to sharpen my egg-slicer as it's just started mangling my hard-boiled eggs.
Perhaps if sharpening is not an option you could restring it with fine razor-wire.

Loved the photo you sent me yesterday Tom!
Mrs Red looked very comfy there, sitting in the back like the Queen Mum.

We went to Clovelly yesterday. It's a beautiful little village with streets so steep and narrow that cars can't enter. It's the only one of it's kind in the country.
There was a visitor center at the entrance. They wanted to charge us thirteen quid to enter. I couldn't believe it. People were paying up like sheep too.
I told them my granddad didn't fight in two wars so that they could charge thirteen quid for an Englishman to enter an English village. (He didn't, but that's not the point).
We got in without having to pay though. Result!

I'll have you know that there are other diaries where I can go and get insulted.
Are you aware of the libel laws in this country?
You might soon be hearing from my solicitors, Messrs. Sue, Grabbit and Runne.
