Anyway, in any discussion about food, you are at a disadvantage if you haven't been round Ralph's gaff for dinner.

An abuse of Meals on Wheels if ever I saw one.

When Maria was sorting my paperwork & mail the other night, she found a "Winter Heating Allowance" Form. And she filled it in!

FFS.....

Well it was free in a sense, because I forgot to renew it! I renewed it last month, & it came through backdated to last November. Oops.....

And only Pensioners get free TV Licences, anyway. Ralph has one I reckon.

Oh, & it's "licence" not "license", & I don't care how many academic links you use to try & convince me you are wrong. Pfft, the youth of today.

BTW Ralph, did you remember to save the bone for Kizzy?

What make's Kizzy? I've got some lovely raw stuff if you want a bit of a treat for him/her?

Ronnie loves sheep's spines/ribs. They're his favourite.

A Yorkshire terrier. She's just a tiny scrap of a thing but she almost killed one like yours the other day (Got stuck in it's throat)

I'm ok for bones but watch out for those ribs, A rottie can easily shatter them and then pierce his gut with a shard...

Quick question.  I've always been told you have to cook the bones before you can feed them to a dog.  Something about the taste of raw meat making them crazy for chasing livestock.  Fact or fiction?

The technical term is "Cobblers"

No, you're right with this one.  In British English license is the verb and licence is the noun (and also a verb).

I was always told the opposite -the smaller bones splinter easier if you cook them - and are more dangerous to the dog. The livestock bit is well - what Red said.
