Planet Hollywood buffet is a must for you Red. So much choice and as much as you like. Jeees it's good.

Agree, I always rave n about it on here. It always has been well above the rest even when it was Alladin.

Plus check out "Earl of Sandwich" in PH, great sarnies

So touching to know that everyone is concerned about my gastronomic wellbeing.

So, do you think I will lose any weight while I'm in Vegas

Might I suggest that you pay a visit to Carnegies Deli. One sandwich could feed a third world country for a month

Is that the one in NYNY ? If so it's on my to do list.

You have a to do list? That's funny, I have a to don't list.

For an amazing fun night out away from the poker take in the Blue Man Group at the Venetian. Mind you it's Vegas baby so it's poker - show - poker.

Carnegies is in Mirage.  They have 'ordinary' (given that this is the US) sarnies and they have obscene sarnies.  Think of 50 slices of meat on top of each other and you get the idea.  Order extra bread if you tackle one of these and turn it into 2 rounds.

CPK at Mirage is also a good choice for pizza/pasta/salad, as is Stack, the cafe and buffet are reasonably solid, there's a new burger bar there too.  Tournys used to be good here midweek, last time I was there they were struggling to get 30 runners.

Perhaps surprisingly, I don't like too much filling on my sarnies.  I think it's a symptom of my childhood when you got a little bit of whatever and a whole lot of bread to fill you up.

Think the top off my dad's egg with 4 slices of uncut and you'll get the idea.

I think the NY deli at NYNY is called Greenberg's, that's the one I mean to try.

2 sausage, 4 rashers of crispy bacon, 2 eggs sunny side up, mushrooms (fried, no microwave crap) some form of fried potato, i.e. chips, hash browns, fritters etc. No beans though, or else everything ends up tasting like beans.

Bread and butter (Not toast)

Large mug of strong sweet tea.

Perhaps a double chocolate chocolate chip chocolate cookie for afters.....?

Firefox Version 3.

Anyone downloaded it yet? It keeps offering itself to me but I'm scared of it, it looks like it wants to control everything I do.

(Actually, it reminds me of a few women I know)

(Well, apart from the offering bit)

I did a few days ago.  Not sure I like it much TBH, but still trying to get used to it - might warm to the idea eventually.

FF3 does take a bit of getting used to, but when you have it is well worth it.
