".....And so, (Tank says the word "and" should never be capitalised) on to movie myths & mistakes......."
Correct - in that, as a rule of thumb, properly constructed sentences, written by posh people, should not begin with "and".
'as a rule of thumb' - you mean like 'generally speaking' - like 'usually' - but not always. So in conclusion, sentences can begin with 'And'. They can begin with anything at all. That's not to say they should. If I were an Employer, viewing a CV from a Job Applicant for a job which included written communication, & he began a sentence with "And", I'd not read any further, I'd just bin the application. Her Majesty the Queen-Ness NEVER begins sentences with "And". And there you have it. That's because the Queen was taught by people who knew a lot about Latin - not so much about English. A lot of the 'rules' of grammar that were written down when education started being for the masses, aren't actually rules of English Grammar - they're rules for Latin Grammar, it was just assumed they should be the same. But that's not always the case. Anyone give me a sentence which has the word and running 5 times consecutively in it? Geo Eeeek I stumbled upon this yesterday. How odd. A man selling fish and meat had a sign outside his shop saying FishandMeat but the spaces were so narrow it looked like a single word. A customer of his pointed it out by saying: There should be a space between Fish and 'and' and 'and' and meat. Nice one, as it's on Reds' thread I think you should receive 5 points. Geo

Is it possible that Kinboshi could be right?
Anyone know how to get from the M69 side of Coventry to Barwell in Leicestershire?
My multimap won't work!
What are you going to barwell for? (I go there to empty my dustbins. Btw- Hands up anyone who can remember playing on a refuse site (We used to call it the tip) as a child.

I'm going there in the morning to visit the best man at my wedding. If there is such a thing he lives in the posh bit - the bit thats not usually on fire. I've been to his house loads of times but always get lost!
