Had a busy busy week this week. (For which I'm paid peanuts btw)
I was so busy, it took me two days to reply to a text from Ralph, and when I did eventually get a minute, I rang him up but he was too busy to listen.
Anyway... One of the weeks highlights.
I got to sit in the house of commons and listen to a debate. It was great!
The government sit on the left, and the opposition sit on the right. there are two thick red lines on the floor, (two sword lengths apart to prevent duelling) no one is allowed to go beyond these when speaking, otherwise he is deemed to have crossed the line.
Bugger. Just had a phone call from Bridie. She has a flat tyre.
More from the commons later. (bet you can't wait)

Crap at it/Crap at them is fine, as Maths/Mathematics is both singular and plural. Obviously doesn't mean you should go around saying Maths are my fav subject...
However Math and Maths are not so interchangable. It is not a question of language, but a question of Geographical differences....
Mathematics is the plural of mathematic - but the term mathematic is obsolete.
If Americans didn't have the term 'mathematic' as obsolete then 'math' would be correct, albeit in a very limited context.
But as they never use the term mathematic, just like we don't, then 'math' isn't correct anyway - whatever your geography.

Tom, have you been watching "Inside The Human Body"?
On the BBC, and better in HD.
Second one of the series was on tonight. Watch it on iplayer if you haven't seen it. Fascinating subject, done brilliantly by the BBC, with Dr Michael Mosley.

Thanks Kin.

This one showed life from a baby being born to a man's final breath. The latter was done very well with the right amount of sensitivity - very moving though.

I found this anonymous maths quote, one of the few which I both like
and
understand.
"If you think dogs can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then giving Fido only two of them"

How much sleeP do your survive on. Seem to remember you on here at 1 am and again on here at 6 am. Most people brush teeth last thing at night and first thing in the morning. Yet it would appear that checking blonde is most important to you and I.

Here's another one that I understand.
The hardest arithmetic to master is that which enables us to count our blessings.
One that I don't understand.
Sometimes it is useful to know how large your zero is.

You're such a lightweight Jase. I went for a run before I logged on this morning.

Maths Quiz:
How many times can you subtract 7 from 83, and what is left afterwards?

Saturday night I got no sleep as got in from Dtd and watched the manny/Shane fight and then with the kids until time to get back to Dtd. And Tuesday managed 3 hours. Have been snoring a lot on the sofa during the day a lot recently as most of the wife's videos on her phone confirm

Trick question? 11 and 6. There may be more to this but i start from the most recent post and work back, probs not the most optimum of strategy.

No trick, but your answer is wrong.
