Bit edgy for you Tom.
+100.
Do you think he acts, speaks and writes the way he does for effect, to play to the gallery, or do you think he's really as awful as he seems?

I think he is mostly awful, but seems to have moments of clarity where he remembers to be a decent human being and can be funny at times. He seems to have attracted a two bit Piers Morgan wannabe in Laurence "Lozza" Fox, who seems to have no redeeming features. Guess it is only a matter of time before he goes full Katie Hopkins.

The full Katie Hopkins is as low as it gets. I was delighted to see that Twittter pulled the plug on her last week, though I'm sure they will allow her back in due course.
Utterly dreadful individual imo.

The funny thing was that she had just called Stormzy a bellend which is pretty innocuous for her. He'd probably admit he can be a bellend at times, as we all can. I do like him despite that, he seems to do a lot of good things.

Have you postponed your Far Eastern jaunt Tom?

No, we're all booked up Ralph, 13 of March. Thailand, Cambodia & Vietnam.
Think we'll be OK?

I'm sure there would be official announcements if it was unsafe, and they might well have figured out innoculation by then.

You can take the man out of the North Skip, but you can't take the North out of the man.

Re the Hopkins and Morgan posts, I have to say I dislike that 4 letter word and the one beginning with t so much, mainly because as most of you know they are useful now and then which is more than could be said for the people mentioned!

Enjoy your trip Tom, I'm looking forward to all the pics and thoughts. I've a friend who did a similar trip and she said that Cambodia had a certain smell that hit you as soon as you got off the plane so please let us know if you get the same!

I'm almost hoping I'll get some sort of non life threatening injury that leaves a scar so that I can say, "Yeah, I got it in Nam..."
