Ah...Yes...    I had one, but the wheel fell off.

Tomorrow is the first day of spring.

By an incredible coincidence, it's also the first day of the rest on my life.

I run so good!

So anyway, I've been chipping away at the $2/4 online cash all week but not really making much progress. Then this morning I happened to notice a $5/10 game with two known fish sitting at it.

I put my name on the list, and befre you could say six smart fellas felt smart, I was playing with the big boys.

I lost $500 of my first pull up when fish number one got married to his flush draw, but I buckled down, and soon I had over $2000 in front of me and was showing a profit of over $600.

Then I got Kings.

I make it $30 to go from mid position, a very solid player behind me re-pops it to $90. Everyone else folds.

I re-re-raise to $260 and he moves all in for $1200.

I call, and of course he has the aces.

I strongly suspected aces before I called, but I can't go around passing kings pre. Or can I?

Could/should I have got away?

I'm about £800 down since my last cash update.

comes up a lot this problem, if you know he's very solid then you can fold. He wont 5bet you with AK/QQ so its only AA or KK, and KK is unlikely as you have two of em. Consider just calling his 3bet pre Red, you'll make more money off the hands you beat/hands he is bluffing with than you do by jamming all-in pre (only AA will call).

Obv this is only v a decent, solid, abc player.

Thanks Alex.

Damn! I knew I should have folded my kings pre in this situation!
