I hope you're on your dinner break

I don't want to talk about it.

I was disapointed with my play in the main event at Bristol.

I could make excuses, (and I brobably will when I write it up) but the botton line is, I played badly.

Sigh! I hate it when I play badly.

Ah well...  back to the drawing board.

When I was kid, we often used to find these in amongst the scrap iron, especially if we had cleared a cellar or a garden shed.

I never knew what it was for until recently when I saw someone using one.

Bet you can't guess what it is

Is it something to do with weaving or rug-making?

Yes. Go to the top of the class.

I went to the black country museum recently and watched an old lady transform an tattered jacket into a rug using one of these.

LOL - I run good!

Now, what did you say the prize was? I can nip over and get it to save on postage as I'm only at Desford.

It looks mechanically similar to a device used in the electrical trade for stretching cable markers before placing them on a cable - so I'm going for some sort of tool used for foaling.

Castrating device?

How did you get that?

It's a bloodless castrator. It works by slipping an elastic band over the testicles.

This is the old fashioned version
