Sigh...

I called and lost, and what's worse, we didn't lose a player.

If you run into AA or KK thats poker. Your getting 2-1 pre flop I'd call.

Your v an under pair or Ax you gotta call.

OK. I called because in the worst case scenario we wouldn't lose a player but I Would still have a few chips back after paying my SB, then the blinds and antes would kill the other player before it got back to me, which is what happened.

I made the final with half of one big blind, and then I got extremely lucky, with 4 left, we took 1k each and played on for the rest.

When we were down to three I thought I had dropped a bollock. SB raised my bb for 20k, I pushed for 100k with 10 high and he insta-called. he had 9 6os.

I hit a 10 first card but he rivered a middle pin straight.

I still don't know if the bubble call with AK against two all in men was the right decision.

Who made the call on the AK hand. That's the critical bit here.

UTG pushed, button pushed, I was the only one to call.

Remember, all three of us only had approx 8bb.

Yeah I'd classed button man's shove as an effective call given stacks. Sorry about that.

I meant which person was it on the button. If it's Rob then you pass cus he's not shoving light.

If it's Habib it's a shove cus you could easily have him dominated.

If it's a Random Dutchy I've no idea. Did you not have any info on the caller at all?

fwiw I snap shove btw but I'm not in to thinking about the correct move in these situations.

I guess it all depends on your aim here. Do you want to cash or win? If it's cash then it's an easy fold cus you're almost guaranteed after this hand. If you want to win you have to call.

As far as I know, all deals have to be by chip count, maybe they have changed that rule as I havent been for a while
