What do you think of this shove?

low buy in tourney, usual mix of terrible players.
hero is top 5 with around 50 left of 400, CL is 2 to the left. blinds 400/800 with ante. hero has been smacked in the face by the deck but has yet to show a bad hand at showdown. hero has 20,000 CL about 25,000.
dealt
decide to limp from HJ
CL limps along, SB makes up and BB checks
flop
check to hero who bets the pot, everyone calls
turn
check to Hero who shoves
How good or bad do you think this is? and why

to be honest I dont really like it- I doubt anyone here has anything other than a flush or straight draw as I would think anyone with a 10 woulda raised you on the flop, so they're both going to be scared off of your trips or better and fold; so I want them to catch up- I want to bet the turn, but shoving is not my play, I try to build & bet half the pot here & hope for the call, hoping they catch up then my riverbet depends on what comes...but more than likely a full shove

I would have raised preflop to say 2500.
Flop is good.
Pot is now just over 16000 and you have about that back. I think i would shove as this is looks like an excellent turn card, as we are now getting called by any 10 and if we try to get fancy here we lose value from the draws out there if they miss the river.
I am not worried about better hands as we are stacking off here all the time anyway, just missing value from a wet board.

I dont see anybody having a 10 here the majority of times- its 4 handed and anyone with a 10 will raise the flop bet

I think from the HJ this is a raise, flop is pretty much my line. The turn shove only gets flush draws to fold , a 10 isnt folding here so it doesnt matter what we do from that perspective. I would bet for around just over1/3rd pot say 5.5-6k. Obv I am not folding.

I don't mind the shove here. I like it a lot better than any other bet on the turn. If you bet on the turn you have to make it look like you're scared and nt trying to get value. Therefore the only bet is the shove. i check though.
And raise pre-flop.

Really? I think the only bare 10's that raise here are a10-q10, the sb and bb could have any 10 here and you are seriously 3 betting a this flop with any 10. Aren't you turning top pair into a bluff as you surely don't think you are going to get called by worse.
Bare 10's are very much in their range imo.

Well I think it all depends on your opponents stack size but I reckon they raise with any 10, if nothing else to find out where they are on the flop, the call screams to me they are drawing, I bet half the pot on turn hoping to induce a bluff on turn,

you can't bet half the pot on the turn. That screams "I have a monster" and noone in their right mind will try to bluff you off a pot that you've stuck that many chips in that you only have 6 BB's left.

Stacks are not deep enough to make shoving optimal i dont think. You lose the people who are drawing dead a lot of the time. Milky bet to keep them involved. Ur getting the 10's money anyway so you have no need to "protect" your hand. I just nailed this hand.

Absolutely what i said and i just couldn't see that i was in anyway wrong but the person who asked me insisted his shove was better, no bet = bad for allowing them to miss for free, shove = lose any draws, 1/2 pot bet looks perfect to me.

Will they try and bluff you if you move all in?
