This is the brightest it gets here during the day at around 11am. We get the pleasure of this light for around about 2 hours and then its pitch black again!!!!!!!

Technically correct. Somebody somewhere worked out in the cold war that someone in my job had a life expectancy of 6 seconds, as their MO was to target us first to disrupt the supply chain.
