An incredible day's play has come to a final conclusion.
Wowzer! many big names came and went today, but it was a less well known, but clearly highly capable Canadian Mike McDonald who led the way at the end of the day. Renowned Dutchman
Marcel Luske also survived the cull of the big names, including Negreanu, Obrestad and Iremark, to make it through to the latter stages.
We will reconvene tomorrow at 15:00 our time, (14:00 for you in the UK) to see how this amazing EPT ultimately plays out.

Once again, there was the sad sight of a once full tray of gummis, now sadly reduced to just a few powerful soldiers, who beat the odds to make it through the day...

The Gummis showed a crafty tactical streak, that had not been in evidence previously...No longer will they just sit there as cannon fodder for the hungry fingers of the press, but took the war to the enemy in exciting fashion today. From their daring raid on the press computers...
...to their clever camoflage attempts...
the Gummi bears are clearly prepared to fight fire with fire, with a renewed vigour and intelligence that may yet see this war won!
