Big hand alert  .... (Jeremy wasnt involved then !! ... still too soon ??)

Annnnnnywayyyyyyy

Des Jonas raises it up to 2k (blinds 150/300)

Nick (Redbull) calls ...

flop

 three clubs

Des instantly shoves all in for 32k

Nick dwells ... stands up, sits back down ... stands up again ... sits back down again ... I did toy with the idea of moving his chair away if he did it again but nooooo ... he calls for his remaining 20k

On their backs and Des tables

Nick grimaces and says that he hoped des might be flushing as he flip his

turn

River

And we lose blondeite Redbull ...

Desmond now on over 50k

Tikay couldnt resist telling me how a hand earlier he stole Des's BB with filth ... i was impressed until some one else at the table informed me that Des was actually out the back having a smoke at the time LOL....

Bo Le Cong is the chip leader with I think 60k ish after having Kings vs Aces vs Ace Queen and catching the Cowboy first card. (Jacks also passed in the hand.)

Dave Colclough is OUT, as decribed to me by Pete Linton.

Pete limped utg with , Dave limped behind, and the big blind checked.

three clubs

Checked around.

The big blind bets 1,800. Pete calls and Dave calls.

Now the big blind checks, Pete checks and Dave bets 3,500. The big blind moves in, Pete folds, and Dave calls with Aces, only to find the big blind has made the backdoor nut-flush with .

Thoughts on this hand anyone?

Monkeyboy Matt is flummoxing Midlander Andy Johnson, pushing against his a raise once to elicit a fold, then shortly afterwards, Johnson limps and so does Matt and see a 4-way flop with the blinds. The board comes out K-9-4 and Johnson bets out 2,500 into a 2,000 pot or so, Matt quickly shoves again, the blinds run for cover, Johnson has a rueful glance on his face, turns over the and folds.

Rooks promised he'd be squeezing, and after Tikay and the button limp, Rookie makes it 2,700 from the small blind, Des Jonas passes in the big, Tikay thinks and then passes and the button folds soon after.

So as I'm walking past Shaf's table, whilst he's f-ing and blinding at nothing in particular using I think new swearwords that I didn't think existed, I bump into to Barry Carter being moved to table B5.

"Surely Barry, you want table , it's meant to be pretty explosive action-wise..."

"Eh? Oh errr....yes..."

And my joke falls flatter than the APAT Payout Structure...

Pete Linton has just lost a huge pot with Ace King to Ace Queen all-in preflop, hitting his King but running Queens on the turn and river knocked him back to 25k and the town of Ubertiltsville, population: 1

Tighty has knocked out Billy Ngo and another short-stack who shoved from the small blind, Tighty calling from the big.

Billy:

Shortyboy:

Tighty:

Board:

.

Tighty on 16k and change.

Red OUT
Compo OUT

Flopps is off to get the details.

Red shoved J-T over the top of M3boy raise, M3boy eventually calling with A-J. Compo no news I'm afraid.

Rookie just lost most of his stack with Jacks against Ace King. "Obv" he added.

He was all in with 9-3 against A-6 and 6-4 but spiked a 3 and now has 1,950...Short-stack Ninja time?

Also a SSN, is UpTheMariners who has been short basically the last two hours.

Compo pushed over the top of a 5k bet for 18k on a J-T-8 only for the OR to find a call with Q-J.

Daniel "UpTheMariners" Rudd is OUT, into the big blind's . A more charitable than usual Shaf telling him he'd played very well.

Meanwhile, Marcus Bebb-Jones looks to be the chip leader with about 70k.

Tom 'Numpty Dumpty' Rutter (Younger brother of Stu) is still hanging on in there, but lost a 16k pot when his K-Q failed to knock out the A-J which we think belonged to Andrew Woods.

Pete Linton pushes all in from mid-position, it's passed around to Reyaaz Mulla in big blind, who starts contemplating.

"Pass, I'm ahead," says Pete.

"I need chips though," replies Reyaaz, as he counts out a call. "I've actually got a worse hand than last time..." referring to a previous occasion that we had obviously missed, and he turns over , ahead of Pete's .

Board:

two hearts three diamonds

Pete scoops up the chips, "I wanted the call, I can't win a coinflip so a 40-60..." using that perverse gambling logic that poker players occasionally have when they've been hit by the animal called variance.

Two more levels to go through before we finish play.

Philip Ashton and James Eggar just played a huge almost 60k preflop pot. "But what were the hands?" I here you cry, "...for something this big, surely it's Aces vs Kings or A-K vs Q-Q or some such ilk..."

No actually, Phillip button raised to 3,600. Eggar moved in for about 23,000 more from the small blind. Phillip called after about 30 seconds, with...with...with...pocket Fours. Eggar showed...Oh I can't add anymore dots to this, he had ... The Jack hit and Eggar has a huge stack.

Next table, Pete Linton doubles through MalcM with vs on a three diamonds Two Clubs board, missed that action as I was dashing off to see Matt Tyler bust Paul Hambleton with against then threaten to go all 'Bruce Lee' on the dealer jokingly, when the dealer wasn't sure if Matt had Paul covered. Either way, I think there's more chance of Matt going 'Bruce Forsyth' than 'Lee', the Spherical Wonder just needs his own custom pose now.
