6:15 - alarm - Ordinary Man by Christy Moore
6:20 - Snooze 1 goes off
6:25 - Snooze 2 - get up
6:26 - Take a piss
6:27 - Turn shower on/get towel
6:35 - Get dryed and dressed for work
6:50 - Mam comes back from walking dog - I'm still getting ready
6:55 - Mam makes toast and coffee
6:55 - to 7:10 browse the net for latest news and watch tell whilst having toast and coffee,
7:20 - realise I spent more time than planned on net, phone taxi cos I have now missed bus.
7:30 - Taxi arrives
7:45 - Arrive at work
7:45 - 7:58 piss about browsing e-mails, playing games and generally noising anyone else who's in the office up Smiley
8:00 - Start real work - worse part of the day.

05.30 second phone alarm goes off
05.33 Bob from work calls me "you up?"........."yeah"
05.35 radio alarm goes off (radio 1)
05.37 Slater from work calls me "don't be late"........."no chance"
05.40 third phone alarm goes off
By this time the cat is standing on my chest tapping her head against mine, purring VERY LOUDLY!
05.45 snap awake, jump up, grab clothes, feed cat, grab various crap and leg it out the door.

I work from home so this game is easy.

7:10 alarm goes off - hit snooze
..snooze
..snoozzze
.
.
.
.
8:40 Brain can now register the hitting of the snooze button and realises that I need to get up, however decision needs to be made... Starbucks or not .... not means 19 mins more of lie in but normally Coffee it is.

So get up Loo, Shave and throw water at face, get dressed, coat?, Scarf?, Gloves? so many questions... so early in a morning.

Out by 8:44 walk to town (6 mins), walk into Starbucks - pick up Times- now comes the chalenging bit need to engage brain to ask for coffee. Get in queue (normally only 1-2 people long) [hope cute girl is on] - smile {if it is not the cute girl then this can be skipped}  "Morning" I say - Usual (they ask) [cos I am here too often] "ya" I manage, hand over money, "thanks" I say, walk 3 paces to bit where they deliver Grande Latte (to go) , get coffee "ta" - open lid, add chocolate, change page of times to p21 (for comment, or a sports story) to read on way home. Walk home.

Arrive 8:59 - enter house - turn on 2 laptops - one for work - phones, email, VPN's & Yahoo and a second for browsing Blonde, THM, 2+2, P5's, hotmail, bbc, ITV F1, 23 other poker sites and blogs I read though the day, while I wait for work to download or process.

Its only 9:01 onward that work gets in the way,and ruins everthng.

Does no one make love in the morning these days?

No time.  I'd have to set the alarm a lot earlier...

This morning.

Alarm goes off at 6.45 (I'm planning on getting to work early, see?).  Hit Snooze.

8.59 incoming text message wakes me up.  Oh dear, I must have hit 'off' instead of snooze.  Panic.  Jump out of bed, have wee, brush teeth, run fingers through hair, put on yesterday's clothes (clean undies though) and out the door at 9.08.

9 minutes, surely room for improvement... Combine the toilet usage and teeth brushing, forget the hair, undies pff... That should shave off 3 minutes...

Two routines

Routine 1
Alarm goes off at 6.03am....6.00 am is just too early
Get up start singing...get sworn at by Mrs. Snat
6.06 Shave
6.13 Shower
6.25 Watch local news on BBC1........never understood why we always get scottish weather presenters on London local news
6.45 wake Ads and get him downstairs for breakfast.....suggest to Mrs. Snat that she might want to get up now and to help her I have left a cup of coffee on her dressing table.
6.55 Downstairs chatting to junior about the day ahead making sure he has right books and done homework
7.05 Wake Rachel....Ads goes for shower and I suggest to Mrs. Snat that her coffee is cold and she is going to be late.
7.10 Make Rachel breakfast chat to her about her day ahead.
7.15 Adam now dressed is downstairs and subjecting me to my first dose of the suite life of Zack and Cody
7.30 Sam the nanny arrives and I take Adam to school bus

Routine 2
Alarm goes off at 6.03am....6.00 am is just too early
Kick Mrs. Snat out of bed
Go back to sleep wake up at 7.20 am by Adam shouting at me that he will miss the bus
Mrs Snat left at some point...I know not when
7.21 shave
7.23 shower....face dripping with blood from shaving too quickly
7.25 Out......
7.28 Dressed in various items of clothing none of which really match
7.30 Kiss Rachel bye bye and take Adam to bus little interaction on my part

Routine 2 is the morning after a night in Luton

Yet another reason to reevaluate why I play

Shaving in the shower FTW.

Hot water will soften the bristles and also rinse away the detritus afterwards.
