The heads up has leveled the chips almost completely; as the inimitable Thomas Kremser says, "both players are even with chips."

Henric's fairly relentless aggression has swung the chip lead back to him - he has 1,850,000 to Mats' 650,000.
Even before this point, from sitting way over here we almost constantly heard "Henric raises" drifting from the final table.

Just when Henric had whittled down Mats' chips until he had a 5 to 1 chip lead, he went and doubled him up with
against
... so this might take a while yet.

The balance has firmly swung the other way now - 450k for Henric this time. The big hand involved a preflop raise of 50k from Henric, called by Mats, and a flop of
. Mats check-raised the flop and Henric called. Then Henrik pushed all-in over the 250k Mats bet on the
turn. He called, which is not so surprising, considering he held As

Mats Gavatin is the Dublin EPT Champion!
The final hand saw Henric push with K9 and run into A9, giving him a pretty slim chance, and no help arrived.
This means that officially, Mats wins €317,000 and Henric €174,500, but I am informed they're mates and although there's no word of deals, they both look happy. And well they might, in any case. Congrats Swedes, you've done it again.
