The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Nick Gibson doubled up through David Maudlin after an agonising dwell for his tournament life.  Blind on blind action with Nick in the small blind, he bet out on this board:

but was reraised (putting Nick all in) from David.  Nick took a long while and in the end a minute clock was put on him, clearly it was a tough decison as he made the call and flipped over  .  It was good as David was representing a much stronger hand than the  he was holding.

Nick now on 32,000.

Colin Gillon (pictured) just doubled up Stuart Fox.

Colin had been stealing with three diamonds but Foxy held the dominating when Colin was forced to call the all-in due to the odds.

Board:

Shortly afterwards Foxy was ordering a beer and raising it up from the hijack. Jen moved in from the big blind and Foxy called.

Jen showed whilst Foxy held

A board later and Jen has doubled up to just over 10k.

Tim Blake and Craig Owen played a healthy sized 11k pot, Owen betting 7k on the flop, Tim folding with a shrug.

Nick Hicks has doubled up finally after Jerome Bradpiece made a raise with Q 10 os, Nick woke up with AA in the big blind and gave it a spin.  Jerome was commited to the hand and Nick now on 11,000.

Sat in a nice little row is a blonde sandwich with Nick Hicks and Pete Linton having a Red Dog filling.

...................................................

On a board of      Tim Farrelly bet out 5,000 with 10k behind and Mick Jones reraised all in for a ton more (he had Tim well covered).  Tim made the pass and showed  .  Mick said "Wow, you passed that yeah?" and flipped over  shruggin his shoulders.  Mick is on around 30,000.

The board reads and David Maudlin moves all-in for about 8.7k into an 8k or so pot, putting Jerome Bradpiece to the test.

Jerome gurns, thinks, gurns a lot more, in fact I think he does more gurning than thinking, but perhaps they aren't mutually exclusive here. Anyway after the healthy amount of gurnage, Bradpiece makes the call for a big chunk of his stack.

Maudlin says, "Good call, King high."

Jerome shows as he puts on his cape...

Dave Clark is OUT. He pushed over the top of Marc Goodwin's raise with against Goodwin's ducks but lost the race.

time.

A short-stacked Tuan Le pushes all-in, Chunky Mick and Charles Denton push all-in behind him for huge stacks.

Tuan Le:

Chunky Mick:

Charles Denton:

Board:

two spades

Charles has Mick covered for a side pot worth about 80k, and Tuan Le's little jig of delight at winning the 15k main pot goes by almost unnoticed as Mick's huge stack gets moved away from him.

Foxy is OUT, courtesy of Mr Neil Channing.

Rupert Elder is going very well with 75k.

Tim Flanders is OUT. He was all-in with Ace Ten, Daniel 'UpTheMariners' Rudd had called behind with Queens before Sunil Mistry moved in behind him. Keith Russell shoved his pittance of a stack in as well for value. Rudd folded after some though.

Russell showed J-9 whilst Mistry had Kings, the board came out J-9-6-7-Q giving Russell the main pot whilst Mistry took a small side pot.
