Luke Patten doubles up Roberto's havles - Jamie Gubb to about 110,000.  On a flop of

Luke bets out 30k and and Jamie goes all in.  Its not masses more for Luke to call so he does with 5's, Jamie's KK though stand up and Luke takes a little dent.

THEN..............................................

I get called over to another table and find Aces played cutely and getting absolutely full on 100% reward.  Peter Charalambous with the bullets makes a small 14k raise preflop and finds a wonderous reraise to 42k from Andew Psaras.  Peter smooth calls and the flop comes:

  two spades

Psaras decides that the flop suits him and not Peter and goes all for a massive amount.  Pete calls and Psaras turns over  two hearts, he doesn't improve and instead goes OUT on 20th place.  Peter now must be well over 300,000.

Pete Linton bets out 24.4k on a board, Jeff Kimber moves in and Pete calls.

Pete:

Jeff:

Turn:

River:

Jeff doubles through, whilst Pete, who lives and dies every hand, bless him, takes a knock back down to about 190k.

Chicken Joe Koumi is out in 19th place, his Ace Jack was no match for Craig Metcalf's Ace King. 14th to 18th receive £2,150.

Charalambous takes another scalp, this time in the form of shortie Niall Charlton.  Charalambous this time had Queens and held up against Niall's Nines who is out in 18th place and just takes the higher jump in prize money.

Malcom McKinlay has gone out in 17th place, he was really short after Woodsey had raised UTG and Terrence Owens re-raised. Getting close to 3-1, Malcolm decided to gamble with his suited whilst Woodsey passed. Owens showed

Board:

A rivered straight gives Owen the pot and we are down to 16.

Andrew Woods has been struggling of late and finding himself low with about 50,000, reraise all in a 27k raise from Charles Denton.  Charles made the called the xtra and we saw:

Woodsey
Denton

Board:         and an unlucky river for Woodsey who goes OUT in 16th place.

ACTION!!!!  Bad news for Tim Blake fans.  Tim makes it 30,000 preflop with  , Aaron Berry reraises all in for over 100,000 more.  Tim calls and is shown his 2nd worst nightmare -    .  The Kings stand up and Tim is left with an absolute bowl of rice so is all in next hand with Q 5 v 10 3,  a 3 is spiked sadly to send Tim Blake OUT in 14th.

Okaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, here's one to get your heads around.

Dharminder Buttar button raises and Graham Clarkson says, "Call." But Buttar thinks he's said fold and turns over pocket Eights.

A ruling is called for, and it's decided the hand can continue but, Buttar can only call from now on.

Graham bets 19k and Dharminder calls.

Graham now moves all-in and Dharminder quickly calls with the Eights. Graham flips but the river is the . Graham sees it first and shouts, "Straight!" in pure disbelief, then shoves all his chips towards Buttar before leaving the table.

Nik Persaud says, "I've not seen such magic since I went to see David Blaine...Other people know exactly what you have and yet you still win the pot!"

Hot on the heels of Graham Clarkson's exit is that of Scott Edwards.

Jeff Kimber raises to 25k, Edwards calls. The flop came out 8-4-3, Jeff bet 50k and Scott moved in for little more, Jeff called with Jacks and Scott showed 10's. No help on the board and Scott is gone in 12th.

Straight afterwards, Nik Persaud is all-in and in trouble with two hearts against Dharminder Buttar's .

Incredibly cagey now. Jamie Gubb is probably the shortest but still with about 160k whilst Craig Metcalf has a similar amount on the other table. Not many flops being seen, or many re-raises either, we did have one of the latter when Peter Charambolous raised UTG for 35k, before Dharminder Buttar made it 102k which quickly elicited a fold. But other than that, any raise is usually enough to take the blinds down, whilst in a rare case of a flop, caution is the name of the game and it looks as though 10 players will be returning tomorrow.

Oooh, some serious self-bokkage. Maria has details...
