Players are making their way back to the seats, the blinds are about to be 12k/24k with a 2k ante.

Dharminder takes the first pot. Nik pushes from the button on the second, takes the blinds and shows Ace King. Nik takes the next one too, a 69k raise which takes Charles Denton's big blind leaving the latter with only around 5 big blinds. Nik goes for three in a row. 68k this time, but this time Charles Denton is all-in. Nik quickly calls with , dominating Charles'

Board:

Charles Denton is OUT in 6th place winning £14,350

Dharminder raises preflop and Jeff calls.

two spades

Check check.

Dharminder bets 75k, Jeff calls.

Dharminder moves in. Jeff passes.

Last hand before a 1 hour dinner break.

Jeff limps in the small blind and calls an 80k raise from Nik.

two hearts

Check check

Jeff bets 100k. Nik gives good ol' gurn 'n' dwell and then folds.

I don't mean to be funny, but you've got to watch the guy in seat one, he's a right shark.....

Craig Metcalfe is down 200k or so to Nik Persaud just now.  Craig raised to 55,000 and Nik called the small extra from the big blind.

    check check

Nik checked, Craig bet 70k and Nik called.

Nik checked a third time so Craig came out firing for 125k.  Nik made the call showing  for top pair and Craig declared "Good Call" and showed  for the busted everything draw.

Craig limps in the small blind, Dharminder checks.

Craig checks, Dharminder bets 24k, Craig calls.

And on a real action card, Craig check/calls a 40k bet.

Now Craig moves all-in for 129k, Dharminder sighs and then makes a crying call... But Craig has been caught bluffing big again turning over three diamonds. Dharminder's is good.

Craig Metcalf is OUT in 5th place winning £17,940

Almost discussions of a deal taking place. But they've been quashed because not everyone was in favour of an equal chop.

Peter Charalambous really is a funny character.  Very chatty and happy go lucky, he often frequents the dealers choice tables at DTD and rarely the NL Holdem.  In fact he told me that despite playing cards for years Hold Em was the last game he learnt and not that long ago either.  You will rarely hear him be quiet at the tables and it must be killing him not to be able to yap away as normal (although) he probably should just go for it and annoy the hell out of the other players lol.

To keep him occupied he has 3 times now knocked over his entire chip leader stack and enjoyed the triviality of stacking them back up again lol.

It's slowed down a lot with the exit of Craig Metcalf, the remaining 4 players are all very deep so we could be a while (or a deal) from any major action.

Nik Persaud raises to 80k from UTG. Jeff Kimber re-raises to 200k from the big blind.

Nik goes deep, deep, deep into the tank. He spends a good 5 minutes thinking this one through. Finally, he whispers, "All-in."

Jeff immediately says, "Call."

Nik Persaud:

Jeff Kimber:

Board: two hearts

Jeff doubles up and becomes the clear chip leader with over a million in chips. Nik is stuck with just 200k.
