Thanks for your post Booder but contrary to your thought my post is NOT spam. I didn't start the thread, I didn't instigate it and I didn't initially put up the site address. I responded to about 200 people a month who use this site to access the blog. Ok, it's not a high percentage in relation to the 10,000 hits a day it's getting but I feel I should still be courteous and let people know of developments. If this is a problem to you, I apologise but it seems the majority of people who've posted in the thread (ie: everyone else) don't share your opinion. Maybe you'd like to pm me and I'd be delighted to discuss it further. After all, we're all friends here.
Thanks again

Booder, when I make a post I feel is worth a read on my blog, I post it up and have no complaints. This is a very good read. Not worth complaining about, keeps the blondes updated on something a few of them read.

agreed ,it is a very humourous blog.i am sure that the people who read it do so on a regular basis and have no need for the regular reminders.Perhaps  mr Snowman would like to contribute something to the forum other than spamming his blog.

difference is that you contribute to the forum. Snowman only has 9 posts, all on this 1 thread which is why Booder smells

would be great if he'd contribute on other threads as he enjoys poker and  many people enjoy his writing

Point taken. You guys are correct. I should, and indeed will, participate more in the forums and not just this thread - as I said, we're all friends here. I can't defend the indefensible. Thanks for the kick in the pants, if I'm honest I probably needed it.
Snowman

PS. Yep, from Oxford...why?

Because I used to play poker in Oxford, and your writing style reminded me of one of the players there, who used to do write ups for the pub league I played in.

The "Oscar the dog" story was the one that got me thinking...

Guilty
That was me. Haven't played that pub league for ages after I found out what a rip off it was. I'm sure we've faced each other accross the tables
