We're back! We spent a few minutes during the break in the Pokerstars Hospitality Suite. You know it's a party when...
Upon returning to the press room though, we discovered that we had been invaded! There's a code there - see if you can guess which nefarious updater from which country is responsible for leading the troops against us. (Not to fear, they have since been mercilessly dispatched.)

Yes this is all true - he's sat behind a pretty mountainous pile of chips (1k still the highest denom around). There was the world's tallest man (or thereabouts) forming part of the crowd around his table so I couldn't get a good picture - bear with us and we'll bring you one by the end of the day though...

Rasmus Nielsen (pictured) just picked up about 20k like so...
Peter Eastgate raised preflop to 8k, called by Andreas Glannbro. Over to Rasmus in the blind who slowly upped it to 35k - enough to commit the initial raiser's whole stack. He was no longer interested, but it took Glannbro a little longer to let it go. Which he did, tapping the table.

Joseph Serock has taken down a pretty chunky 40k pot. He called a bet from Jan Sorensen on a
flop, and then they both checked the
turn and, a bit inexplicably (I guess he thought Sorensen would bet), the
river. Sorensen just mucked when he saw Serock's
.
He's since been ABUSING his giganto-stack and bullying poor old Trond Eidsvig (in a very unbiased reporting sort of way). He raises from the button and Trond calls. Poor, honest, hard-working, attractive Trond checks the
flop and Serock bets 14k. Trond folds.

Tung Huynh is eliminated by continual talker Leroy Soesman (pictured next to Rolf in his spacevisor) who drew attention to the situation by saying, "I'm losing my audience! 'Oh he's all in again, what a surprise!'" which of course drew back his audience and camera crew... He showed
to Huynh's
.
The board emerged...
...
to bring the total number of players down to a bubble-approaching 48.
Also pictured - dealer (attention 5%) and the lovely Kristen (attention 100%)

One Official End Of Level 14 Chipcount that is no longer accurate is that of Pavarotti-a-like Gino Alacqua. He doubled up courtesy of fellow Italian Giacomo Rosa, shoving with
and getting himself called by
from Rosa's small blind.
Board -
Rosa is down to about 40k.

This is probably the most biased piece of reportage I have ever read in my whole life. Simply saying it isn't doesn't make it true.

Everyone is always talking about the 'big names' of poker, nice to see a little one doing well.

Well here we are into most definitely the last level of the day, with 5 places to go until the money. It's all very exciting.
Our current chip leader we reckon, on around 280k, is this young gentleman, Mr Rasmus Hede Nielsen:
Alas alack though, our friend Trond Eidsvig has taken a bit of a beating - he's down to around 85k now with the blinds up to 2k/4k. Latest loss is down him calling a 13k raise from Jan Sorensen out of position, and then check-folding the
flop. Come on, Trond!
Sorensen has also been doing damage to former chip leader Joseph Serock - he took a big pot off him with A-K on an A-x-K-x-x board. Serock mucked.
