Richie Lawlor is down to 12,500 (starting stack of 15,000) after running A-J into Pocket Kings on a J high Flop. Looks like Richie got away pretty cheaply in the end, just calling down each street and leaving himself with a more than playable stack.

-----------

It took longer than expected (the Guinness not flowing as much as usual today), but our first notable all-in was from Dan Bolton, who pushed against Sideshow Bob on a board. Sideshow Bob folded, and Dan raked in a nice pot.

Paddy Dooley just called a 1,600 bet on a Two Clubs board after calling 500 on the Turn. Nemesis Damien Kent showed K-T for the flopped straight and the pot.

-----------

Still awaiting our first exit of the day, there is an all-in on one table with Aiden O'Hara's set of threes in great shape against Anthony Lynch's American Airlines on a 5-8-3 Flop. A Queen Turn and Ten River mean that O'Hara doubles up to 25,000, still leaving us with our original 124 players.

----------

Player Gone!!!!!!!!

Short stack Patrick Burke raises from from the cut-of to 450, Eddie Gorman Re-raises from BB to 1500 and Patrick Burke goes all-in for 4600. Gorman calls.

Burke
Gorman

No clubs or aces and Patrick Burke (pictured earlier with his happy team-mates) is our first elimination

Elsewhere Jimmy Kenny has recieved a timely double up with that nice hand . Getting it all in pre/flop Kenny was delighted to see his dejected opponent flip  . No miracle King and the cooler (birrrrrrrr) is complete.

Moments before the break, Derry O'Sullivan won a nice pot with Pocket Queens on a . His opponent called 3k on the River with to leave Derry as happy as Larry, whoever this mystical Larry character might be.

----------

Gary Power is short (in chips and height), but he just doubled up his shortstack with A-K versus Fives, a King on the Turn saving his bacon and leaving him with circa 3k.

----------

Early pace setter Dan Bolton has taken a hit. He called a 4k River bet from Matt Dobbins on a , but could only tap the table in defeat when his foe turned over . As a result, Dan if back down to 19k.

Ian Whitty is at his er... wits end, having become only the second person to exit the Team Event, his Pocket Sixes on a 9-4-4 Flop in a spot (well, it was more of a crater really) of bother against Paddyboy's Pocket Nines.

Mick Stephens 12,000
Nicky Power 12,200
Carl O' Donnell 24,000
Wes Farrell 12,900
Tony Baitson 11,400 (with 3000 in 100 blacks chips-keep stealing those blinds!)
Derry O Sullivan 9,800
Vera Duffy 21,100
Pat Storan 13,400
Mick Doran 11,600
Bomber Nolan 13,800
Richie Lawlor 10,800
Dan Bolton 25,000
Keith Cummins 10,500
Sideshow Bob 4,900
Connie O' Sullivan 10,200
Albert Kenny 17,000

Bobby O'Donnell is out.

Teammate Pat Kenneally, meanwhile, is fairing similarly poorly, his 3.6k call on the River of a board being swiftly met by Richie Lawlor's .

There was one of those awkward post-morten pauses as Pat seemed hesitant to muck, the silence eventually broken when someone observed, "I'm assuming he hasn't got A-J then." I think Pat was right be a tad stunned though, as he had Aces and obviously didn't expect them to be beat, even if his final call on the river did appear to be a painful, and almost reluctant one.

Craig Smith and Padraic Kavanagh are both OUT.

Your current chip leader is Kieran Walsh, currently bearing a smile wider than a Cheshire Cat on widescreen with just under 60,000.

The fortures of team Sideshow has got, well, eh......... betworse. That is things are looking both up, and down, eh, if you know what I mean.... Okay okay I'll explain my nonsence.

We already reported Flipper was rocking with the best of them with his near chip lead stack, but now he has gone and taken the outright chip lead! Flipper is now very much the shark with 60,000 in chips.

Elsewhere however Sideshow Bob has been eliminated. Pushing all-in with  generally isnt considered the wisest of moves and things didn't change today. Called by Dan Bolton with  the high cards held.

As you can see things are looking betworse for team Sideshow

After a slow start in which it took almost four 45 minute levels to lose one player, they're now dropping like lemmings on a tightrope, the latest player to lose balance being Seamus Birt, his A-K on a 2-K-Q-9-8 board in all kinds of trouble against Sean O'Sullivan's Pocket Cowboys. Yeeeeehaaaaaa

---------

Pat Storm and Gary Power have also been spotted around the rail, which either means they have super human players which mean they can move their chips and cards without being at their seat or, possibly more likely, they are out.

Recently spotted in sniper mode is the wonderfully named Chris Frisby, who just threw Aiden O'Hara out of the room, when the latter found himself all-in with 6s-5s against Kh-Tc on a 4s-Ts-2c. The 5c Turn created more outs than a cricket match, but none of them arrived when the River dealt out the Kc.

With the Flop reading 5s-8h-4c, once chip daddy Carl O'Connell pushes all-in for around 10k, leaving a tortured Davvy O'Sullivan with a decision for both his 4.5k in chips and his entire tournament life. As Carl peers down at the felt, his stare frostier than a snowman in the freezer, Davvy unzips the think tank and jumps in. After a few moments, he pops his head back out, trickles his chips over the line and reveals Pocket Tens, his breath held whilst he awaits his opponent to flip over his cards. To his relief, Carl shows an inferior 6s-4s and Davvy is allowed to exhale the deep breath that he'd been holding. The 8c Turn was a constructive one for Davvy, his opponent's outs reduced to just a Four, and as the dealer popped out a harmless Kc on the River, he gently tapped the table in triumph and plonked himself back down in his seat. Karl, meanwhile, wore a face like a smacked bottom, or perhaps one who's fingers had been crunched in the poker cookie jar. Game on!

----------

Popular player John Quinn, who I believe cashed in both the Irish Open last year and November's blondepoker.com Waterford Autumn Festival, has just bitten dust on Table Bomber. All-in with 9d-7s on a 9c-7c-2c board, John was in need of full house to conquer Pat Keneally's Tc-2c, the 4c Turn and Js River providing no divine assistance.

Some good fortune for one Mr David Brown, a nice Jacks verus Tens coo on a J-4-T Flop seeing his chip stack double. Mr Tens' shoulders dropped so low that he scraped his knuckles on the floor.
