Like Ross and Rachael in friends, the players are now on a break.

But what are the official rules of being 'on a break' ? Roll Eyes

Personally, I think it means you can go crazy and sleep around, although I don't believe any of the players chose that option today.

Let's hope they've chosen to have a nice biscuit instead.

Laxie here.  I've locked Snoops in the closet and taken over his laptop.

Uhoh...the fecker just broke out and caught me.

****LAXIE BAR ALERT****

I'm not barred yet, but in the last hour or so have definitely contributed to the night's takings.  Tried me level best to corrupt the updaters in the last hour, but they've held tough to look after you lot.  Never fear...I WILL break them down!!!   Mwahahahahahahahaha

After all that early action, play has quietened down substantially with players seemingly unwilling to swell up the pots too much. Although we seem to be seeing a few more flops, most of the hands are finishing pre-flop.

Another all-in for Percy Kingston! This time it's a classic coinflip situation against Colin Fardy, Percy's Poket Tens looking to avoid a King or Ace against Colin's Big Slick.

First card out is the !

But it's quickly followed by the !!!

Then a two hearts.

Two Diamonds on the Turn means Colin needs a King.

River =

That Percy's had more doubles than Laxie!

Colin Fardy is OUT and becomes the 6th place finisher winning €400

Chip leader at the start of the final table with 45% of the chips in play, Colin Fardy has just been eliminated. Fardy was all-in pre/flop and was taken on by Richie "fish with chips" Lawlor.

Lawlor
Fardy

The board came    meaning Fardy is now OUT in 6th place

Eoin O'Neill is OUT and becomes the 5th place winning €500

And just like that, as one fez-wearing comedian used to say, we're down to four. And what a brisk affair it was too, Nicky Power raising to 35k from the button, Eoin O'Neill pushing from the big blind and Nicky calling instantly.

As Nicky revealed , there were a few raised eyebrows, but their facial ascent was soon halted when O'Neill meekly flipped over , one onlooker even stating, "that's soul reading".

Board = three diamonds

Down to four.

Nicky Power is OUT and becomes the 4th place finisher winning €700

"A blow up of Flipper proportions," confesses Nicky Power.

Nicky Power (small blind) =

John Kelly (big blind) =

Board =

I guess John has a dishonest face.

Richie Lawlor is OUT and becomes the 3rd place finisher winning €1,000

We are down to our final two players in the Team Event. Short stacked and getting desperate, Lawlor puhed all-in on the button for 80,000 with  . The big blind John Kelly called with  .

The board came  and king high was good for the now dominant chip leader John Kelly enters heads up with a massive chip lead.
