Spoke to Colin Reville during the break. After a cracking start, he's now struggling and confessed "I think I'm on the way out soon". Detecting his cynicism, I attempted to motivate my troop by replying, "Come on Colin, stay positive, you should be saying you're about to double up". Let's see if my coaching prevails.

Here's a snap of Colin during more lucrative times.

Here's Roison Gough, the only female player remaining in this event, although she's struggling with 23,200.

Dan Bolton has just landed a massive double up. The action was as follows. Bolton makes it 4600 to go from early position. Robert Gosden then re-rsies to 11,000 total from the SB. The action is back to Bolton who quickly calls.

Flop comes

Gosden leads for 15,000 into the 24,000 pot. After a few moments dwell Bolton moves all-in for 41,000 total. It's Gosden's turn to dwell then but eventully makes the call.

Nicky Power has voiced concerns over the stability of Flipper Walsh in live tournaments. He maintains that Flipper an obvious "lagtard", is getting found out the more he plays. With two Andy Black style "blow-ups" in as many days Nicky fears for the Flipper's current credentials. Flipper maintains that his "rival" Power has said to much and should stay mute in future. I hasten to add that these are not team mates and that there is quite possible a scent of inter-county rivalry in the air.

Why cant they just kiss and make up?

18-year old Roison Gough, playing in her very first tournament, is now out. And if there's anything that's going to break you into poker and give you an idea of the highs and lows to expect, then it's a good old fashioned counterfeiting.

Team fish with chips member Mick Doran has just got a timely double up. I say timely as his reaction of "now we can play lads" suggests this was the pot he has been waiting for as he now has 82,000.

On a flop of   Two Diamonds David Brown instantly goes all-in. Doran goes into the tank for a brief few seconds before announcing "call".

The turn   and river   means David Brown is now OUT and we are down to 27 players

Mick Doran has added some more chips to his tsack having just eliminated Dave Masters.

Dan Bolton got the ball rolling raising to 9000 from early position. Mick Doran called on the button only for Dave Masters to push all-in from the big blind. Dan Bolton passes and Mick Doran calls.

I'll need to confirm, but I believe we have lost Mick French, John O'Sullivan and John Rogers, the latter of which is pictured below. Incidentally, Neill Kelly announced that with two players still remaining, Jeff Rogers' team are currently in the lead for the overall title.

As things stand, the team battle in this tournament really hangs in the balance. In terms of current points the recently eliminated John Rogers' team leads the way with 420 points and two of their team members left.

With 23 players left there are a lot of teams down to their final player. There is a lot of teams with two remaining players meaning that as it stands, the team prizes which lets not forget are worth 60% of the prizepool, are still all to play for.
