Enchantment? Enchantment!

So we've arrived, no thanks to Kev's failure to bring his Sat Nav, which meant that we, along with Wick 'Action Man' Twigg, were treated to a wonder-tour of Nottingham going around in circles for around 20 minutes until Kev discovered his bearings and managed to land us in the correct area. Eventually. Play doesn't start for another hour or so yet, which will allow me time to sample some of the culinary delights that dtd has. (Rumours of me scouting out possible ambush positions for a Red-Dog/breakfast snap are, as yet, unproven). There's 82 people already registered so anyone who who thought the main event would start with less than 100 players will be like Red Dog later, and most likely have egg on their faces.

If there's anyone in particular, you wish us to follow, then let us know.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

No pictures yet because Snoops is bringing a camera up with him from London. Any bets on whether he gets here before the comp starts? Roll Eyes

Gordon 'Gimac' is OUT already vs the of his opponent on a flop, and looks to be our earliest bustee.

Adam 'I hate the environment and probably used a petrol-powered razor to shave off my beard' Goulding has drawn the seat that nobody wanted, well no-one without earplugs, he's sitting next to Ironside.

Fellow hater of all things green and lover of destroying the planet, Jen Mason is sitting a tough little line-up with Billy Ngo, Greek Jack and Paul Jackson as the three people to her left.

Hello.  This is Jen in the disguise of NoFlops:

Oh so exciting fifth and 12th hands, which happen to represent 2/3 of the hands I've played and the entirety of my tournament report...

Multilimping going on... I raise c/o with .  Hell, it's a pair.

Flop:    Double check-to-me so I bet 350.  Double call.
Turn:   Double check-to-me, so I bet 1,050.  Single call.
River:   Check to me, so I bet 2,500.  Now CallMatey moves all in.  !.  I thought I was value betting... consider this to be a bonus from AK vel. sim. and call the 5k.

Matey:
Me: down to a very short stack indeed.

Hand #Out:  I pick up and move the microstack of a few bb in.  Five callers.  Then under the gun limper re-raises.  I say, "That's good and bad..." gets it heads up - I am vs. and unsurprisingly am now headed to the other side of the room where there are cash tables, and food.

Turny has just been over to relay a hand ..He calls a raise from the button of 250 with one caller already its a 3 way pot ... Turny  is holding

FLOP

Checked round

Turn

Again its checked round

River

Now the Original raiser bets 750 ,Turny re raises to 2k ... and is re re raised to 4k ...

In Turnys own words, "I know im in the shit, but i have to pay him off"

He gets shown  and takes an early hit
