Because they are rubbish. Mike Lacey is here, but he doesn't count as a player. (That's because he's reporting for Pokernews,
not because he's rubbish or something...
)
The correct way of assessing Mike's ability is to ask him if he's drunk or sober.
Gosh, would hate to see what he's like drunk.

"Well" is quite a strong word for this situation. I would prefer to use "better (relatively speaking)". As to which is which, well - is it not obvious!!

Hi guys.
Put an eye on spaniards.
Specially on the Great Juan Maceiras aka "vietcong01" on PS.
Thx.
I think, unless he was a last minute qualification/addition, Juan Maceiras isn't playing today (1A). Will keep an eye out though.

I'm guessing the Irish guys are all saving themselves for next week. Mike says that he doesn't think that there are that many Irish regulars on the EPT scene, and all the young high-roller type guys (e.g Dave Callaghan) are happy plying their trade on line.

Speaking of young-high rollers, Dario Minieri is OUT. I had spotted him doubling up earlier with A-6 on an A-J-6 board vs A-T but, he's not been able to build on that.

His son Juan Maceiras Jr. plays tomorrow, but Juan Sr. is playing today. (I think).
Ask about to the spanish unibet team reporter

Looks like WPT Barcelona runner-up Ludovic Lacay is a gonna. He and his over-sized headphones are noticeably absent from the table after an A-6s squeeze was felled by K-J.
White socks? Sandals? Yes, it can mean only one thing...Greg Raymer is here, ready to do battle tomorrow.
All you Marek Kolk fans, I'm sorry to say, he's OUT. Kings into Jacks.

Dan Carter Update:
Doing better, as his almost tender grin at the fan he's borrowed from Julian attests. Apparently he was the beneficiary of a wonderful gift with
. I must first stress that he paid not a penny over the big blind (which he was on) to see the
flop, it was only a limp from the button, limp from the small blind...
Anyway it turned out that the small blind, who pushed on the flop and whom Dan instacalled, had
but was pounded by The Hammer and is now OUT.

Leaderwatch
Somewhere along the line American Casey Kastle has taken the early momentum garnered from his AA/KK thing and built a few very tall towers of chips. I estimate somewhere around the 50k mark - if he isn't chip leader, he's in the ballpark.

Sorry Flops, always the same problem with the spaniards and our TWO surnames.
He is Juan Maceiras Barros --> Juan Barros on the list.
