Andreas Hagen moves all-in for 15k on the dangerous looking board, Kenneth Matsson decides he's racing at best, and folds .

Jeffrey Petronack is left smarting, he's got it all-in with on a board only to find Steve Bromley holding . No King or indeed on the river, seals the double up for Bromley.

Here's what Arnaud thought of the hand.

Just like Jeffrey Petronack who just busted a minute or so before the end of the level and current 15 min break...

He re-raised Danny Ryan preflop all in, for an amount Mr. D__RY wasn't going to pass to, even holding after Andy Black had accidentally mucked face up...

Petronack showed:    "Good luck," wished goodnatured Danny as the board came out (You know how Andy Black felt about this)... two hearts

"Sorry about that," said Andy as Ryan stacked some new chips.  "That's OK."  The table of Death has got all laid back, all of a sudden.

Keith Donais must have seen this poster before the start of the tournament.

Jean Claude Perrot makes a huge shove on a Two Clubs flop, Donais eventually calls with , however, before he can add a superhero cape to his back, the Frenchman shows , which is good and holds for a 100k pot.

You might have thought short stack Stephan Thiele-Bolivar might be looking intently for a place to push, but no, his hands are whirring around the Rubix cube which has accompanied the German player throughout his EPT journey.  Just thought I'd get a picture of him before he finishes it.  No, not the tournament, the cube.  Pessimists.

Could we have a photo of the Perrot's tower of chips please?

Best o luck to Dan "luckbollocks" Carter.

Here's the man himself, with neighbours, on a table where he says he's, "Not really seeing many flops.  Winning pots preflop - most of the other players have those awkward stack sizes I can put pressure on."  Doesn't he look like he means business?  Awwww.

The gent in the silver shades is Anton Smolyanskiy, actually a US Stars qualifier who is pictured here betting 8,500 on a two hearts flop the hand before the break started.  Next to him is one of my picks, a sleepy-looking Joe Serock.  Admittedly, today hasn't been going so well for him, down to around 30k while silver-shaded neighbour has around 70,000.

when do you have chip counts ? every break or every increase of the blinds ?

Asking that to avoid bothering you with that when you cannot answer...

We get full counts every 2 hours or so, but if you want an individual one just ask for it and we'll swing by their table.

James Honeybone - 55,000 at last count (although we expect some new counts sometime soon).  Looking pensive, in contrast to how the New Zealander seemed pre-start today, which was cheerful, enthusiastic and confident.  "Aiming for fifteenth," maintained.  "Why not aim for first?" I asked.  "Well, I can't actually win it today or tomorrow, only on the last day."  Perhaps the more nebulous "chip leader" might be more what he wants to go for.  In any case it doesn't look like many of tablemate Dan's chips have come from the Honeybone corner.  He's only on his second EPT, although seems to like them enough to make the trek from NZ, having scored some nice finishes so far on the APPT, and come tantalisingly close at the Aussie Millions, which is more conveniently located.

Just slightly to the wrong side of 20k. Looks like he'll need to make a move soon.

Stewart Chantler, who was caught playing Avril Lavigne from his Ipod so loudly that everyone in the cardroom could hear, a couple a days ago, has been caught doing it again. This time Andy Black told him to turn it down, presumably so Black can hear himself shout...
