Yep, that's supposed to be the "right" answer Andrew. But I reckon that when your mate crashes your car, kills the old lady, then the girl's husband arrives and sparks you out it wont seem so clever.
I never liked him anyway - he kept cramping my style when I tried to pick up girls at bus stops.

Girl obv, my best mate would make sure the OAP is ok.
You give the keys to your mate and let him drive the OAP home. Meanwhile you wait with the girl, making chitchat about what a generally kind and wonderful guy you are. I doubt that will make up for the fact that she's still in the rain! (words carefully chosen!)

Is that a euphemism?

my best mate is not insured to drive my car. I don't think a respected service lkie AQA II should be promoting such irresponsible behaviour as driving whilst uninsured.

We didn't. AQA II are not responsible for the advice or opinions of others on this forum. If fact, we're not really that responsible for our own actions. Please seek out financial advice before taking out any loan. Remember, your home is at risk if you fail to repay any loan secured against it. My house is also at risk, but that's from exploding gas cannisters.

And of course you should in any case be taking advantage of the pissing rain to drive your car yourself, as it's probably one of the few occasions when it won't burst into flames.

You are driving down a country lane in your two-seater sports car, it is raining hard and very cold. You pass a bus stop and notice three people standing there. One is a frail, old lady, one is your lifelong best friend, and one is the girl/guy of your dreams. Who do you offer a lift to and why?
Best mate of course - you can't go offering lifts to strangers. If I'm driving a two-seater sports car there is a likelyhood that I am a bit of a twat, so I might just pass them at full speed ensuring they get drenched as I drive through a huge puddle, then I can laugh menacingly at people who are so poor they have to get a bus in the rain.

Last night I asked Q&A "Will Dingdell and XXX from Blonde ever get it together?" The reply was "XXX and Dingbell ::)will get it together soon. They are obviously an excellent match and everyone will be delighted to see them hook up" So I sent the same question with a different XXX name. Their answer was "Yes XXX and Dingdell will get it together. They will face each other in a heads up game and then go out for a couple of drinks" Good news all round - just wondered who I'm playing the BB6 heads up tourney?!? (me thinks that AQA doesn't send back 'no' answers very often!)

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.
