A quick meander around the cardroom and I stumble it to this rather bamboozled lass, Chili's drink surely embedded with multiple shots of vodka rather than pure cranberry juice.

Anyhow, after taking this shot, I was momentarily plagued with who she reminded me, and then it hit me, it's my last girlfriend Barbara. Take a look, it's uncanny.

He's been avoiding our paparazzi paws for far too long, but veteran forum user Redsimon isn't just a blonde, but a local around these parts and was part of the wallpaper when I was a regular down the Notts Gala. Good too see him at the tables, especially since he's increased his 10k starting stack to a monster 10,025. If he increases his count by that every level he'll be... well, still around his starting stack.

When Take That lost Robbie Williams, they called this man. When Weslife lost Brian, they called this man. When the leads singer of the Monkees wanted his name back, he called this man. Interesting Mr Boyband himself, Davy 'Le Knave' Jones, a bit of Sleepy Jean with his starting stack still in tact.

Also gracing us with his presence is DTD's own Nick Whiten, gurning like a child at the dentist and cupping in a way that reminds me of those fearsome trips to the school doctors.

For those viewers who haven't yet been lucky enough to make it to DTD, feat your eyes on these two wide snaps that would surely make even the most talented of landscape photographers weep into their lens and cry "Why can't we create such spectacular, ground-breaking shots as snoopy and Dana?!"

Ok, the lady at the desk said no player list for an hour, but as I trudged back to my laptop, a gent appeared waving the ludicrous piece of paper below appeared. It is amazingly a kind of player list - we're missing at least half a table, but it should give you a decent idea for the time being. Enjoy!

What our player list looks like:

Sharing a table with HWMNBN (He Who Must Not Be Named) are localboys Tony Nicholls and Raj Dhiri. Raj in particular likes his poker, and has even made it onto the current DTD board. Even though I remember him from my final Gala days just weeks before I departed the Nottingham area, I must confess that I momentarily forgot Raj's name and was forced to ask him with a slight blush of red in my cheeks. As I refused to believe his initial reply of 'Bob', he diverted my attention to the leader board and announced that he was currently sitting pretty in 2nd. I looked at the board to see that he was indeed just one place behind leader Shariffe (more commonly known as Javed). I'm first, piped up Tony Nicholls with a mischievous smile. I'm not sure what's less believable, that Tony would be called Shariffe, or that he would be top of that list.
