Predictions for tonights game ??

I am going for a nerve racking 2-1 to scousers Smiley

Liverpool only have 2 decent players in torres and Gerrard (when he's on form) and the rest are all average players (but hard working)..Arsenal are filled with talent that play the beautiful game but they are all 12 and tired...a shame but I reckon 0-0 and Liverpool go through.

24crt boldie!

You da man thumbs up

2 decent players.  So Gerrard and who else Nem?

Stop biting Dan... Sit down, get a beer and wait for the game.. Its hopefully going to be a good night, enjoy it, dont get wound up by wannabies..  Wink

Just wanted Nem to state the other decent player as well as Gerrard.

Surely, not the Spanish Andy Johnson?

As for predictions.  I can't see Liverpool keeping Arsenal out for the whole 90 minutes.  I can see Liverpool scoring though - so 1-1 looks about right.

To quote "decent" I would say that most of the Liverpool squad is decent.

I would have Reina, Carragher, Mascherano, Alonso, Gerrard and Torres at Spurs. These players would walk into the Spurs team (apart from Carragher but King is always injured!)

Finnan is decent, so is Hyppia, Benyanoun, Pennant, Riise, Arebeloa...

lets just hope its a cracking game and that noone picks up a silly yellow card ruling them out of next round game.

Riise overdue a goal IMO

If he plays.

I think he's definitely lost his shooting boots though.

if i was neutral i would be having a bet on the score of the last 3 games we have played arsenal 1-1,
its going to be tight, with liverpool not needing to score a lot expect liverpool to sit back and soak up the pressure, no predications but benitez sometimes surprises in these sort of situations and goes on the attack, theres talk of crouch playing tonight i hope that doesn't mean kuyt is not playing, kuyt has turned into a fantastic player this season and along with a few other players is an automatic choice for the big games, i hope to see gallas sat on the pitch on his own for 5 min at the end of the match

I'm not sure that Rafa will set up the team to defend.  He tends to play the percentage game, and sitting back and trying to keep Arsenal's attacking force out for 90 minutes isn't a good percentage play.

I think he'll get the team to go out on the offensive from the off and try and get a goal.  If Liverpool do score first, then Rafa might decide that the percentage play is to defend.

I can't see Crouch starting tonight - as Rafa seems to have his preferred formation now.  What about the Arsenal fans?  Would you rather Crouch did or didn't start?

1-0 Arsenal for me. Walcott with the goal about 10 mins from the end.
